The year is 1885, in a world not too unlike our own! Where spirits, gods, and witchcraft co-exists alongside with the industrial revolution and the social changes of the Victorian London.

Theodore attempts to weave his own path to reinvent himself, despite his family's already plotted route from birth to destiny. Oliver, however, is having a normal day of reoccurring misery (as usual).

By means of the Fates, they meet, and perhaps things can be different this time... ;)

Long time no see!

I'm so sorry for the unannounced and long hiatus of my webcomic. IBWR is not shelved, 'nor is it dead. I'm just incredibly slow paced right now and ibwr was taking too much energy to engage with. I apologise for my lack of communication though, I'll try to do better, but I know myself enough to not make promises I can't keep.

Therefore, I've decided to return to what I did first when starting this comic up: No schedule or deadlines, just update when I got a page made. I understand this can be frustrating for readers, but it is what I must do to keep my joy of working on ibwr alive. I apologise for this inconvenience.

This Pride Month, we'll be sharing some recommendations for webcomics that feature queer characters and storylines! Today, we'd like to tell you about In Blood We Rise, a historical, urban fantasy drama comic by @captainmera.

The fates are weaving their yarn, destiny is already decided. And there's nothing Theodore can do about it. But when he meets the vampire Oliver, everything takes a step to the left into uncertainty. Together they discover the forgotten past and the unwritten future! And, of course, love. *This comic is meant for mature audiences.
