Anubhav Incense Manufacturing Company - Krishna Leela

starting this blog off right, with a short review of an incense stick i, Mr. Wizard and Incense Lover of All Time, hated so much i put out early.

when I opened the bag i was somewhat disappointed by the mildly unpleasant powdery floral scent of the unburned sticks. however, i have been surprised by an unpleasant cold stick that produces lovely smoke. the scent from this stick while it burned was, however, also dogshit.

the primary note present in my room while it burned was something between shitty fake rose, nail polish, bubblegum, artificial grape or cherry flavoring... something like that. it was sweet and sharp in a way that reminds me of something so specific i don't have the word for it. a light purple-pink smell, but more of a "poison in a video game" purple quality than the purple of something nice like lilacs or lavender.

Olfactory Rescue Service put this stick in their hall of fame, which i find absolutely baffling. a testament to the subjectivity of scent, i guess. or maybe my bad taste in smells?

i purchased this from Everest Trader, who also have a website (and an etsy storefront, though i can't imagine why you'd prefer to purchase from there)
