PART 10 Bright pulled him into a tight hug - one that felt like home. One that he never wanted to be apart from. "You fucking idiot! I was so fucking worried - you suddenly disappeared, and I - what the hell, Metawin?!" He was screaming, but at the same time, he was not.

Win wanted to return the warmth. Yet, he prayed to whoever was listening to give him the strength to push it all away. “Metawin.” Bright tightened the hold on Win’s thigh, albeit gently so. “I’m staying. You’re stuck with me. Nothing is going to change that.”

"You don't have to." The latter answered softly as he took Bright's hand in his. His thumbs drew circles against the other’s skin - perhaps he wanted to comfort him. “You don’t have to suffer waiting for me.”

The latter wore a small smile as he decided to wrap his arms around the other man's neck loosely. Bright may have thought he was the most adorable person in the world, but he was wrong. Infinitely so. Win could argue that, to him, Bright was the most precious human he had ever encountered.

Slightly taken aback, the other decided to stop for a moment before he spoke. Bright figured, there was an answer that Win had truly wanted to hear. Something in the way the latter's eyes gleamed made it seem so.
