(m)slytherin whose all badass and tuff x (f) slytherin (who is only in slytherin bc she didn’t want to disappoint her parents) who is basically a cuddly ball of love and affection getting made fun of by the other slytherin bc she’s clingy but he comforts her
"I dont want to go to class today." She sulked into the common room with a sour expression on her face. "Can I just skip and hang out with you."
He looked up from his spot on the couch. "Why dont you want to go to class?"
She shrugged and made a noncommittal noise.
Another shrug as she made her way over and cuddled up next to him.
"Who do I need to beat up?" He put his arm around her and soothingly rubbed her arm.
She smiled and huffed a small laugh. "No beating anyone up. They're just mean. They'll get over themselves."
"Anyone who's mean to you gets beat up. I dont make the rules." He straightened her green tie for her and brushed out a wrinkle from her blouse.
"No! No beating up. I'm trying to NOT disappoint people so I'd rather deal with things in a calm and efficient manner." She softly scolded. There was no bite behind the words. Just simple honesty.
"You will never disappoint me. I'm proud of you everyday." He kissed the top of her head.
"Really?" She stayed wrapped around him tightly.
She sighed and lifted her head to look him in the eye. "Even if I don't say anything to the other slytherins who are mean to me?"
"Especially when you dont say anything. You're the bigger person all the time. You rise above them and let them stoop lower and lower. I know what they say hurts. But you are stronger than anyone I know. Even me."
She giggled. "I don't think I'm stronger than you. I watched you pitch a gryffindor down the hall the other day."
"Yea well he shouldn't have been messing with a first year."
"And besides, that's not the kind of strong I mean."
She sighed and settled back into his side. "I know."
"You still wanna skip class?"
There was a moment of pause as she thought about it.
"No. I'm gonna go to class. And if they say anything, I'm going to ignore them and do my work the beat I can."
"That's my girl." He kissed her nose. "But I'm still willing to beat them up."
She laughed again and ruffled his hair. "No beating up. Be the bigger person, right?"
He groaned sarcastically. "Ugh I guess."
"Go to class, nerd." He quipped.
"Get some class, nerd." She quipped back and slipped out of his arms before he could grab her in retaliation. "I mean that in the nicest way possible."
He smiled at her as she headed out to class with her book bag over her shoulder. More proud than he ever had been before.
