The in game event that prompted this was Dropletsplash confessing to Snom and getting rejected which was sad, so I interpreted it a different way. Even though they're very close, Snompelt never developed any romantic feelings for Dropletsplash and she only got a small amount romance for him - so she was kind of nursing a crush, but not to the extent where she feels upset by him not being interested ;v;

I think Droplet honestly is only just now starting to think about romance and family and how she wants that to play out in her life! So we may get more into it later (with the both of them and their individual paths heh). They remain the closest cat to eachothers' hearts though <3

And secondly! New guys! I hope you all like them - new blood has been a long time coming. Refs for them under the cut.
