Kai raised an eyebrow. “Well aren’t you a cheerful one?” He paused, the sun in his eyes. “Have you seen the girls from Coming Up Roses pass by this way? I found something that belongs to them.”
Indy smiled, squinting to see the male in front of her due to the sun being so bright. “I guess you can say that.” She furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head, “Um, I don’t think I have but if I do I will let them know you are looking for them.”
      Kinda followed a lot of things said about her. She’s normal kinda, she’s talented kinda, she’s cool kinda. Needless to say, Indiana’s words came as no surprise to Emi. “Oh, oh right. No..I’ll go. Good luck um…chasing your song. I hope it gives you wings.” Emi ruffled her hair, knowing when she wasn’t wanted. “See you around yeah?”
Indiana looked down an frowned a little noticing she had upset Emilia, “I didn’t mean it like that, love.” She spoke calmly and gathered her things, she nodded as Emi spoke; “Thank you and yeah I hope I run into you again.”
Ruby was wandering around the festival grounds when she heard a the playing of a guitar call to her like a siren’s song. Turning around, she spotted Indiana and walked over to her. “Morning,” she smiled back. “Do you mind if I join you or are you in the zone right now?”
“Well, I’m in the zone but I don’t really mind because I’m taking a little break.” Indy smiled calmly at the girl in front of her. “What’s up, sweet pea?”
“You too?” Theo raised an eyebrow at her words; it was all too familiar. It had felt like the moment he’d signed on the dotted line he was packing up, being told he was jumping on the tour - truthfully he’d argued against it at first but when he heard Köld would be performing it had been a pretty strong swaying point. “Well you’ve always been a legit artist, that’s what got you here” he pointed out. “as for the performing live thing, the whole picturing them in their underwear is BS just a heads up”.
“Yeah, its all kinda surreal.” Indiana took a deep breathe simply due to her nerves. The whole reason she joined the label was to show her dad she had made it because he supported her. “I guess you’re right. I still don’t know how they found out about me.” She shook her head and laughed, “Thanks for the tip.”

“Performing yes, this festival…first time” Theo confessed with a bit of a shrug. “But you know by the end of it all, I’m sure I’ll have it figured out” he grinned. “What about you? First time?”
“I’m pretty new to the whole thing. I just recently got signed and then they shipped me here.” She said nervous about the entire thing that happened over the course of the last month. “I’m still getting a hold of the performing live and being a legit artist still.”

“Your welcome” Theo returned with a slight nod towards the burnette. “Check in with me later and I’m sure I’ll have done several more things wrong if you want to live vicariously through all my mistakes.”
“I’m assuming you’ve done this whole performing live thing before, if you’re making a whole bunch of mistakes as you say.” Indy said letting her awkwardness get to her, no longer knowing how to respond.
So apparently if you show up late for soundcheck one time… you forever get a babysitter to take you to and from all future soundchecks. Fun.Â
“Thanks for the warning. Now I know punctuality to soundcheck is key.” Indiana said with a warm-hearted giggle.
        “Wanderlust. There’s no edge of the world that shouldn’t be explored and this is our world so why not?” Emi shrugged. If this was her life then why embrace the journey.
“I understand. Kinda.” She said as she sat up and picked up her guitar again. Indiana quickly went back to humming and scribbling in her little songbook. She realized she no longer had all that much privacy and spoke with the utmost respect for Emilia, “I’m sorry, if you don’t mind I’m going to find my way back to my truck.”
    It was a beautiful day. The air was crisp but not too cold and the sky was tinted a cloudy sort of white, the world looked a bit washed out but it made the grass and the rust colored scarf around her neck pop. Wandering aimlessly Emi stumbled where ever her feet took her, drinking in the strange serenity when a voice called out to her. “Good afternoon starshine,” her words had a dreamy sort of lilt as she smiled back at the brunette.”
When Indiana got a good look at the person standing near her she turned over and smiled bigger, “Afternoon. What brings you around this end of the festival grounds doll-face?”
She’d been tapping away on her tablet in an attempt to return some emails for her boss as she was heading back towards her bus when she heard the guitar. Cadence tried to hide a smile at the girl laying in the grass after the guitar had been set down.  “Hey. You okay down there?” she asked, stopping to crouch beside Indiana.Â
Indiana sat up to look the blonde in the face, “I’m fine just taking a break, trying to gain some inspiration.” Indiana was trying to finish a song she had started a few months ago before she joined the tour. It was particularly important she finish and perform this song in one of her upcoming sets. “Hmm, maybe you can help me out with this?”
