what got ya into the musical and ya ever watched it live b4?

Hi, hello! When I was 7, I found the CATS 1998 video my Dad bought and never even watched all the way through. Seven-year-old me loved animals, especially cats, so the moment I saw it I was like, "Am I allowed?"

And he was just like, "Sure whatever go nuts lol."

And it just never stopped. I haven't always been absolutely obsessed, but Cats is one of those childhood things that has always come back to me. I love it, and I don't imagine that will ever change.

I was fortunate enough to see US Tour 6 twice, with two different casts! I won't go on about it here, but here's the posts I finished within days of seeing these shows:

Cats OCs that nobody loves

Cringy Phillip: A weirdly gangly cow cat with a prominent eye-patch marking and lop-sided moustache. Fancies himself as a bit of a ladies tom, but really does not have what it takes. Habit of sticking his pelvis out too far and giving a double thumbs up like an underfed drunken Fonz, which honestly looks kind of offensive. No-one is entirely sure how he came to be in the junkyard. Implicated in the recent theft of Misto's sock stash.
