The National Gallery of Modern Art is the premier art gallery under Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The main museum at Jaipur House in New Delhi was established on March 29, 1954 by the Government of India, with subsequent branches at Mumbai and Bangalore. Its collection of more than 14,000 works includes works by Indian and foreign artists such as Raja Ravi Verma, Rabindranath Tagore, Jamini Roy and Amrita Sher-Gil. Some of the oldest works preserved here date back to 1857.

Lotus Temple - Delhi, India

Designed by Iranian architect Fariborz Sahba, the Bahai Lotus Temple in Delhi is formed by 27 marble “petals” arrenged in groups of three. The central prayer hall is 40m high, with a marble floor, and has the capacity to hold 2500 worshipers. Manicured gardens with ponds surround the outside of the temple, covering an area of 26 acres.

The temple is free to enter, and is open to all people, regardless of religious background, age, or gender. This is inline with Bahai Law, which underlines the all inclusiveness of all religions.

Grey scale posters - Indian cities - Part 1

Indian cities part 1 - This is a personal project. I wanted to make a set of posters representing each city. All of them would maintain the same color scheme (Grayscale) and font. The texture used in each poster also symbolizes the subject of the poster (yeah its very mild you would need to zoom in a bit).

I started off with four cities: Hyderabad, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata.

Next set would be: Mumbai, Jaipur, Goa, and Srinagar.

Key Monastery - Himachal Pradesh, India Kye Gompa (also spelled Ki, Key or Kee - pronounced like English key) is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,166 metres (13,668 ft) above sea level, close to the Spiti River, in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti district, India.
