I'm definitely spamming the Haru Okumura tag so I just wanted to post that I take Haru sketch requests!!! It'll take awhile for me to do but I'm open to drawing (almost) anything about my girl :D Especially AUs or interactions with other characters, those are really fun.

If you are wondering what to request, here's my general guidelines:

Yes: Shipping, crossovers, headcanons, AUs, anything related to Haru and persona

No: NSFW, roleplay, anything I am uncomfortable with

Midterms are destroying me rn so I had to draw Haru studying it up as well. I hc she’s always had good focus and work ethic, so she never really struggled in school. (And always knew she had resources to help her if she did) in contrast, she doesn’t find most of the subjects interesting and absolutely hates group projects

I've been thinking of a few Haru AUs! These are some initial designs I had for role-swaps. Hopefully you can still tell it's Haru, I imagine these ones having different backstories /personalities. (Maybe she's just my oc at this point lol) The thing with canon is she doesn't have any connection to the plot besides Morgana (and ofc her dad) so you can place her anywhere in the story and make it work honestly.

Day 5: Character who [in your opinion] was done dirty/ under-appreciated

I felt like Haru being introduced so late and being wedged in between two major palaces meant her character took a backseat to the development and shenanigans of Futaba and Akechi at times (as much as i love them both). nvm the fact nothing is ever done about her fiance from what I know. I love her and her mementos dialogue. It really adds so much depth to her character seeing how similar she is to Akechi (i know all the thieves have their purposeful similarities to him but I've always really liked hers) and how true to her own values she sticks to.

Honestly thought I'd hate Kawakamis confidant when I found out it was a 'your teacher is your maid' thing but I really didn't mind it and actually found a large chunk of it a compelling example to contrast Kamoshida until the option to romance her. While I like to ignore the adult romance routes when thinking about them, I just felt like the existence of it contradicted the themes of p5 and her entire character (even if she is reluctant to the romance route at first).

I love both of them just feel like they're both under-appreciated as a result of being done dirty by Atlus :(
