Evaluation

In evaluation, I think I have really attempted to develop my skills in styling and creative direction in this academic year. I am really happy with how I have tried to collaborate with other creatives in order to provide me with varied work for my portfolio, allowing me develop my professional manner and relationships which will help me when it comes to employment.

In terms of my branding, I think my logo is strong, I have been able to match my business card, postcards, website and instagram with eachother, portraying a professional look overall.

In terms of my portfolio, I am really happy with the quality of the print and the images. I like the display of my work and I can add work in to the portfolio or take stuff out in the future. The quality of my portfolio cover is really lovely and I think it looks like it was very expensive and this is something that I will be able to keep for years to come.

I hope to continue collaborating with creatives post uni and now I have made good connections with industry professionals and businesses, this is something which will hopefully continue for me. Hopefully I gain employment soon, I am going to speak to people at graduate fashion week and I hope to start applying for jobs in the next few months, I hope to move to London within the next year and work there.

It got announced today who has been shortlisted on the graduate fashion week website. It is amazing to see my name on there and I am looking forward to speaking to the judges about my work.

Shortlist is also a company I would like to work for. I have done an internship with stylist magazine before and i loved them as a company. I have applied for previous jobs here before and I think it is interesting working with a company that has different magazines. This art editor job would be a dream job that I would love to do in my future. I would hope to gain experience through other jobs over the years to aim to applying for a job like this.

I think this would be a great 6 month internship for when I graduate, I am interested in events work and within a fashion company would be really interesting. I feel I am an organised person with experience in working in events. within my part time job I work with events such as weddings and proms which are skills I could carry over in to this job.

I think this job is a really good opportunity, I would love to apply for this job as I think it is a good graduate level job to go in to. I would love to work for a large company like vogue collaborating with different departments.

I have been interested in working for a company like Hearst for a while now, I got to go to their office’s while interning at B.The agency. Their clients include Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Men’s Health, Red and Women’s Health, as well as several other diverse titles across culture and lifestyle.The company strives to remain at the forefront of 21st century conversation by encapsulating our iconic brands through award-winning apps and digital editions. I would love to work within a company like this, maybe in editorial work or creative direction or as editing.

During my extended practice I have worked with photographer kat olszewska, who I have worked with before. She understands my vision for my work really well and I have enjoyed working with her through my project and felt we have created a really strong body of work.

Here are some of the layouts of my website, i am really happy with my final outcome of my website. I have done a description for each of the editorials and then used a gallery strip to show all the images from the editorials, so people can see a good amount of my images on a large scale.

I have spent a lot of time on my instagram during this project making sure my shoots are being shown and keeping people up to date with what I am doing. I also changed my account to a business account as I wanted to see what people were looking at my account and the type of audience I have. I have gained a lot more followers through these past months and i have to gain more through GFW and the exhibition when I will be networking and handing out my business cards.
