Vermilion City FC
“The Port of Exquisite Sunsets”
VCFC formed in 1901 and had won a total of 3 league titles, the last of which was in 1990. The team has had its ups and downs over the decades, but generally manage to stay in League 1, even if they spend most of that time mid-table. The kits are manufactured by Victini, a company from the Unova region.
Sinnoh International
"City of Joy"
Sinnoh International was formed in 1907. It was the first club to form in a city that already had an established team. Due to this, a rivalry between Sinnoh International and Jubilife 96 quickly sparked. Since then, the two clubs have met a total of 186 times in the regular season, and have about split the series at 94-92 with 96 currently in the lead. Inter, however, have more league titles with 7 to 96's 6.
Despite historic success, Inter is now in League 2, and has been for 3 seasons, which is their longest tenure outside of League 1.
The kits are manufactures by Absol and the primary sponsor is Jubilife TV (JTV).
I would love it if these were available in real life :D I love the cerulean city one x
If I get enough interest I'd probably make tees or something.
Royal Viridian FC
"The City of Evergreen"
Royal Viridian is among the oldest and winningest franchises in Indigo League history despite their current status in IRSL. Their 11 Indigo League championships are behind only AC Saffron and Sootopolis. The club formed in 1897, and won its first championship in 1899. From there they remained a top-level team until 1943 when they won their last. in 1944 the team was bought out by a crime syndicate that had been running under the guise of a Pokémon Gym and casino. They began funneling money from the team, which led to their major collapse into the bottom ranks of the Indigo League pyramid. After the syndicate disbanded in 1996, the team was taken over by the new gym leader in Viridian City, Blue Oak.
The team’s primary sponsor is Evergreen Coffee. The kits are manufactured by Tohjo.

Blackthorn Dragons
"A Quiet Mountain Retreat"
Blackthorn Dragons has been a part of the Indigo League since 1935. Since then it has been a consistently good club. They were relegated only once, in 1950, and it only lasted for that season. They've spent the rest of their time living in the top 10 on the League 1 table. Despite their historic success, they've rarely won the Indigo League Championship, having only won 4 titles in their otherwise great history.
The kits are manufactured by Elite and the primary sponsor is Dragon's Den. The home kit was heavily inspired by Manchester United's secondaries from a short while back.
Sootopolis FC
"The mystical city where history slumbers."
Sootopolis played their first game on the salty island pitch in 1940. Due to their isolated location, gathering talent was often difficult for the team. Through most of their history, the team was comprised of mostly Sootopolis natives, and at times it was exclusive. Despite this, Sootopolis has amongst the most passionate fans throughout the league, and it is an honor to make the youth squad. Today, Sootopolis is considered one of the top teams, having won 13 Indigo League Championships.
Pokémart is the team’s primary sponsor, and the kits are manufactured by Absol.
Cianwood Coast
"A Port of Crashing Waves"
Cianwood coast is an old team without a notable history. They formed in 1928 and spent many years mid-table in league 1 and 2, occasionally bouncing back and forth. They managed to win one Indigo League championship in 1968, but that was all. In the 1987 the team was relegated to the IRSL and spent nearly two decades there until coming back League 2 in 2004.
The sponsor is Cameron, a film and printing company.
Ecruteak Gengar
“A Historical City”
Ecruteak City has been the home to the Gengar since 1975. They moved up the ranks fairly quickly, being promoted from Inter Regional Super League in 1978, and then being further promoted to League 1 in 1988 . In their short history, they’ve achieved the title of Indigo League Champion once, in 1997. Ecruteak was relegated to League 2 for the 2010 season, but quickly bounced back to League 1 in 2012.
Their current sponsor is Kimono, a local dance and arts company. Their kits are manufactured by Elite, a company headquartered in the Kalos region.
Cerulean City FC
“The Floral Lagoon City”
Formed in 1952, Cerulean City has spent most of its history in League 2, with scattered 1-2 season stints in League 1. Their current tenure in League 1 began in 2004, two years after the team was purchased by The Sensational Sisters of Cerulean Gym fame. They managed to win the 2010 Indigo League Championship in a major upset over Slateport City, who was trying to acquire their third straight championship. Since then, Cerulean City has finished each season within the league’s top 10.
The team’s current sponsor is Miracle Bicycle Shops, headquartered in Cerulean City.
AC Saffron
Shining, Golden Land of Commerce
AC Saffron is one of the oldest and most decorated of all the clubs in Indigo League. They formed in 1896 and won 20 titles between 1931 and 1995. They haven't clinched the title since 1996 when Team Rocket occupied Saffron City, although they reached 2nd place in the 2012-13 season. Silph Co. has been the club's sponsor since the 2009-2010 season.
The shape of the crest is based upon the Silph Company tower seen in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. It features an AC at the top within a golden circle, symbolic of the city's gym badge. The silhouette at the bottom is that of an Alakazam, a powerful psychic type.
