Indigo Artist Collective (IAC), formerly known as Indigo Hippie CO (IHC) is a Brooklyn based collective of creative entrepreneurs and artist who together have over two years of experience in music,visual arts,art curating, event productions, and youth development. Launched in February 2011, Indigo Artist Collective’s first event was based on their initial love and passion for the Arts. The members of Indigo Artist Collective decided to embark on a series of Brooklyn Back Yard Neighborhood Concerts to give local artists the opportunity to express themselves publicly. Fostering a sense of community IAC members encouraged other Brooklyn artist, Individuals, families and children to come out of their homes to these backyards and became“connected” like 1 big family.
