as far as the red & yellow circles go for membership inside the ring-- are all members of the ring rich? if so, how exactly are red and yellow circle members rich, if they are escorts or signed on to a sub-par agency? or do they just operate as eden workers that cater to the ring? i can't tell if red/yellow circle members are part of the ring or not?
Oh, I do get where the confusion comes from, anon, so let me start from the beginning. In general, members of the ring are part of the upper class, but that’s not a rule without its exceptions. That said, the red and yellow circles, indeed, parts of the ring, and, while they’re certainly no chaebol heirs, their income isn’t as tight as one would imagine.
The line of high end escorts of the red circle is a more subservient class within the ring. As escorts first and foremost, they must prioritize member’s requests over their own choices as long as they are paid. They shouldn’t be necessarily rich, especially if they’re new in the job, but, after a while working in the red circle, they should make a decent living for themselves, which would come from their pay as high end workers, as well as from the cut they get from the drug trade, as they often play the role of middlemen and deal directly to their clients.
As for yellow, the company catering to less luxurious ends in modeling doesn’t mean its board of directors, associates and agents make little money. Their subpar handling of their models implies only the lower rank staffers and models are on the weaker side of the power dynamics, but the ones running the business are quite wealthy, and those are the ones who would join the ring. Yellow was inspired by the average medium sized entertainment company currently active in hallyu, so those could be used for reference, in that sense.
Also, just adding this in case it isn’t clear, since this roleplay is about the ring, all muses in it should necessarily be part of the ring, be it within a subplot or not.

It’s not people from multiple firms, anon! It’s one firm, and the workers in it. If you want to name it in your bio just use the titles Blue, Blue Circle or BC!

Everyone is welcome, of course, but right now we can’t help but want to see more female faces among us. Our most wanted right now would be, in no particular order, red velvet, f(x), snsd, miss a, blackpink, exid, aoa, after school, twice (especially the japanese line). Also goo hara, im jinah, lee sunmi, lee jieun, sandara park, song hyekyo, kim jiwon and wang jihyun would all be lovely!
just for reference what is the name of the law firm for the blue circle? and can we assume they're one of the top firms in seoul/the country? could it be possible to make a lawyer character who is associated with a law firm other than this?
The subjects of our subplots are kept anonymous to fit into the premise of the roleplay. If you must refer to them, you’re free to refer to them as Blue Circle, Blue, or even BC, if that sounds more professional to you. And yes, they’re a very prominent business in Seoul, a few international chaebols as well as foreign companies with Korean branches work with them. And finally yes, lawyers who aren’t working with them are allowed, but remember they won’t be part of the Blue subplot in that case!

the circles all sound intriguing but i could not understand exactly what the blue and red circle do or focus on. would you mind deliberate on it? what kind of people would be in those circles, what are the professions of the people in them?
Sure thing! Red is a prostitution ring active behind the scenes in the Eden nightclub whose escorts currently serve as the Ring’s playmates, mainly. The recruits largely come from the Yellow subplot, but they could have become involved with the escort business after being directly cast by Eden staffers, or through a member’s indication.
Meanwhile Blue is a law firm that has a considerable number of employes inside the Ring, a result of their professional connections with the longtime members. So these are employees of said law firm, they can be lawers, accountants, associates, interns.
so, the circles within the ring are almost like social circles? the high-end prostitutes are close knit, the lawyers are close knit, etc.? these are just the types of people you could potentially find in the ring?
Yes, they are our current subplots that will be playing key parts on events in the future, as well as instrumentally contribute to the development of the plot. They also are part of the verse’s characteristics and politics, as a reference for the muns. I should add that members can choose be part of the subplots or not, it’s not mandatory to join them.
could you please give an example of what we can write in the "preferences" section? I am not entirely sure what to focus on.
Hello, anon! That section of the app is where one would basically state their muse’s preferences in regards to sex; for instance, what kind of turn-ons do they have? What is their sexual orientation? Are they open to kinks, and if so, what are their kinks? It’s basically all about what they like doing and being done to them during sex.For example, maybe there’s a bisexual character who has an inclination towards oral, but they lean more towards giving instead of receiving. That same character might like to be praised during the act, which is part of what turns them on about it, and perhaps they also enjoy dirty-talk along with it. Maybe they have certain positions they prefer more than others during sex, or have a certain style about it - are they rough or more thorough and gentle? All of this is part of the preferences section! ( as opposed to the rules section, where you should focus on what turns them off. )
