Usually I go outside when it’s dark and I think shit, I’m so sad right now. I feel like a cog in a machine. I guess I’d better do my chores.

But yesterday I went outside in the dark and the wind hit my hands and my face and I thought damn, I feel so alive right now. I’m going to buy myself something sweet.

It was so refreshing. I wanna feel like that all the time dude. I wish I was a generally happy person. I feel like I lost that feeling when I went to uni.

Learning to live as an adult should have a trigger warning.

Anyway I think my mood might have had something to do with the fact that I got to experience THE Andreas Deja talk live. That was pretty fucking awesome. I was reminded of how much I love animation, which was nice. I need that feeling right about now.

I spent 7+ hours on this bc I 3d modelled myself a reference and drew the whole background in perspective when really I didn't need to.

Shoutout to everyone messaging me / those who tagged this pointing out all the little details.

I’m glad people picked up on Fujiko ‘helping’ Zenigata just so she can lift his watch. The fact that Lupin has played three aces in a row and Zenigata has four jokers; except there are only ever two/three in a pack, and they shouldn’t actually be in the deck at ALL for most card games. I wanted Zenigata to be in such deep concentration that he’s shed his jacket; trying to work out where the hell these jokers keep coming from, because he’s SURE Lupin didn’t touch the cards he drew. I’m stoked that people realised that Jigen was betting on the card game he KNOWS is rigged, and the way he’s paused to marvel at Goemon’s frankly insane feat of engineering.

The only thing that hasn’t been pointed out to me that I actively thought about is the setting, though I can understand why! I hoped the background was bland enough to capture the essence of a nondescript hotel room; something impersonal and easy for the whole group to sneak into after a night of drinking. The warmth comes from this silly little found family and the love they have for eachother.

I love these freaks with my whole heart. I’m glad you guys do, too.
