WE GOT A RELEASE DATE:

First release is set for August 27th! Updates will be every other Friday (that might change in the future)

Hi everyone!

Unfortunately tomorrow's update will not go ahead as planned. The mods are super busy at the minute, sometimes things happen and that's okay! We're looking at possibly changing the upload schedule from every 2 weeks to every 3 in order to give us more flexibility, we'll keep you updated with our plans

Leonor: omg it's finally hereeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I finished this so long ago that it feels like it has existed in the internet for a while but it's only today seeing the light of day aaaaaaaaaaaa. So exciting! I hope you like that last page as much as I do HAHAHAHAHAHA.

a note on trigger warnings/content warnings:

Hey everyone! Ahead of our first update today (!!!) the mods just thought they would leave a small note about any trigger/content warnings that could come up throughout the web comic. 

So far, we would like to warning for alcohol consumption, references to alcoholism and references to depression. 

For anything else that could potentially come up as the story moves along, there will be an individual warning posted the day before/day of the update.

question! is enjolras trans in the comic?

Enjolras isn't trans (but he says trans rights and also fuck terfs)

There will be trans characters in the comic, one of the profiles should be out soon and the other won't be featuring until Part 2!

Cosette and Enjolras are siblings! Are they twins? Also, happy birthday Courf and happy birthday Leo!

They are twins! Cosette is older by eight minutes and she uses it to claim that she is the older and therefore wiser twin

what's your favorite thing about the enjolras you have made

Idk if this is in regards to characterisation or design haha but my answer for characterisation is Enjolras comes across as cold and standoffish when you first meet him, but that's just kind of how he is- once you get to know him, you can see how deeply he cares about everything- his friends, his studies, the state of the world. He is very determined and that includes in the way he loves (I love this lil guy so much lol)

I mean have you seen him? He's GORGEOUS.

are characters outside les amis and the girls ™ going to appear? Like Valjean, Javert, Mabeuf…etc?

The answer is probably not! Never say never bc you never know what could happen as a plot develops, but right now I have no major plans for them to appear. Maybe there could be a very brief cameo from Valjean, we'll see!

Only character I can think of that will maybe appear more than once that is not an amis (or a canon character for that matter) is Bahorel's girlfriend! (sorry we don't have a design for her YET!!!!!!!!!)

AND, why the Valjean cameo?

BECAUSE!
