does anybody have any recollection of a lullaby-esque song made around (or predating) 2006 that mentions falling from a waterfall? i distinctly remember my parents playing me a song like that and i remember crying hysterically while picturing falling from a whole waterfall

when i was a kid, my dad used to let me watch the rainbow connection video of kermit on youtube. now, i had a huge fear of orcs (like the ones from lord of the rings) at the time, and near the end of the video the camera pans out to show kermit sitting alone on a log in the middle of the forest. little me, so full of fear, used to watch that video and feel my stomach drop near the end because i was convinced that orcs would pour out of the forest and kill kermit.

went outside and saw a stray cat and i’ve been devastated ever since

i was going to bring her inside but it looked like she was a mother and also my two cats would have bullied her so bad

i joined a facebook group and asked if anyone lost her but i wish i just brought her inside. i wish i found her babies and let her sleep in my house for the night she deserves a warm place to stay

what’s a weird thing about life you believed as a kid? i’ll go first

i’ve always had to sleep with background noise, and when i was a kid i would use a cd player. little 6 year old me didn’t realize how cd players worked, and for years i thought that every time i put on a cd then the composer of the song would have to stop whatever they were doing and play their music for me :/ the guilt was so bad guys i thought pianists hated me because i would keep them up at night

i forced my mom to play bromance full blast with all the windows down to and from elementary school every single day and she still had no clue i was gay
