one thing manon did understand was the mind of jeon jungkook. try as she might, he was always quiet the puzzle she had trouble solving. it wasn't so much that she didn't get him, she did, but his decision making never failed to confuse her. one minute things could be find and the next, he'd gotten so worked up over something entirely avoidable and once that happened, it was hard to change his mind. this occurred earlier. not long after landing in bora bora, manon had become friendly with some of the locals. it was fun. laughing, drinking, dancing. she'd been having the time of her life, but then she'd turned and found dark eyes trained on her. usually, that kind of thing would've set an electric current through her. he'd always effect her someway. this time, however, rather than the spark of electricity, there was a stone cold chill. he didn't seem angry, but upset and it was hard for her to comprehend. she had never been the reason for his disappointment before.
with little to say, she followed him back to their room with a heavy sigh leaving the gap between her lips. unaware of what she did wrong, but willing to hear him out so she could at least attempt to understand why he seemed so hollow. there room was huge. much bigger than needed for two people. it was beautiful and spacious and she supposed under normal circumstances, manon would've been all but too happy to inspect the place with curiosity. only this time, she was too focus on the throwing himself down on his own bed to really think about anything else. "are you going to tell me what's wrong or am i going to have to guess?' she questioned with a gentle tone to her voice, slipping out of her uncomfortable shoes and laying her purse down on the table. "you look like someone stone the last cookie." he didn't react, but she could feel his eyes on her, watching her every move as she stumbled towards him and perched herself against the edge of his mattress. "did i do something to upset you?" @infamousjungkook
Jungkook had decided that he was finally going to ask Manon to be with him officially while they were in Bora Bora. He was sick of playing the games they'd been playing, even though he knew he was the one that had been playing the biggest game, and he just wanted to be with her and her alone. He just needed to work up the nerve to say something because this was a pretty big deal for him. It had been a long time since he wanted a girlfriend, honestly, but it felt right with Manon, and he was willing to be out in the open with her and show the world that he was happy and taken. He had been thinking about how he was going to ask her when they were having a small get-together with some of the locals, and he watched Manon dance, laugh, and drink with a couple guys, and they looked pretty friendly. It felt like a punch to the gut to Jungkook, seeing her with other men like that, and he would admit that it upset him greatly, and it was something that no doubt showed on his face because he was never one that was good at masking his emotions. But if she was like that with other men right in front of him, maybe she wouldn't want to be with him officially; maybe he would lose her.
After, they headed back to their villa in silence and he heard her sigh but didn't say anything. He just focused on getting them back to the place where they were staying and just going to bed; maybe he would have a clear head in the morning and think about what to do next. Of course, he should have known that Manon wouldn't allow him to go to bed, that she was going to question him, and he sighed at her words, and Jungkook didn't know what to say. He didn't know how to put into words how he was feeling right now, and he didn't know what to say to Manon that would make her understand how he was feeling either, because he wasn't the best with words, which she should know by now. When he threw himself down on his bed, though, part of him was hoping that would cause her to stop asking questions, but it didn't, and he sighed again. Though he wanted to roll his eyes at the cookie remark, but he didn't, and when she came toward his bed, Jungkook was watching her and frowning because he hadn't expected her to come close to him. He nodded his head though when she asked if she did something to upset him, because she did, even if she didn't mean to do it. Which he knew she didn't mean to or wasn't even aware that she had done it. "Watching you with those other guys," Jungkook finally said and then looked away from her. "I didn't like that. I don't like seeing you with other guys. Not when you should only be like that with me."
