so like … elle as a human. they’re just basically the kid of a rich family that dabbles in various magics and rituals. elle’s grandfather started the practice of good magics to help the world but elle’s dad said fuck that and dabbled in black magics and satanic witchcraft.

If I went out into the courtyard this evening dressed in my night gown and danced in moonlight, I would be a little comforted,

v. main. ― elinor headcanons / plot summaries.
lucifer isn’t afraid to send demons to earth to give elinor a hard time. elinor has had their fair share of demonic brawls all because lucifer wasn’t getting his way. sometimes there are demons elle cannot necessarily fight for one reason or another, but seldom is there ever a case like this, and it’s only inevitable that elle will find a way to fight said demon/s.
it wouldn’t be far―fetched to say that elinor has run into a hunter of monsters and could have possibly had run ins with quite a few during their time on earth. elle does their best to prove that they aren’t on earth to cause a ruckus, even if it means pacifying a tense fight between them and the hunter. if anything, elle wants to get rid of the demonics on earth, but knows even that would be near impossible. elle would gladly offer help to hunters who are trying to defeat a greater evil.
elinor is equally human as they are monster, but most importantly, they are who they choose to be. they are a complex amalgamation of not wholly human, and not wholly monster. they understand that, to most, they will either be one or the other, never both.
elinor doesn’t really have everything figured out. they’re figuring it out as they go. elle isn’t even wholly sold on their end goal, and sometimes even that tends to change. what they know for certain is that what has and is still being done to them isn’t right; they think maybe they don’t even deserve any better a life than the one they’re living, but they’ll continue to fight for one any way ― because it’s a hope for something better that keeps them going.
