do you ever get second hand happiness like someone is happy so you’re happy bc they’re happy
being in college is just talking about how busy you are to people and having them say how busy they are back to you
God is trying to apologize
“Oh shit, my bad bruh”
He must’ve went to hell for that 14 minutes
sometimes the heart's like !!!!!!!! and there's nothing you can do about it
Is this about anxiety or love
yes

if anyone wants a sneak peak into life as an amazon warehouse worker.
1. the relief fund that trump passed does not apply to amazon, specifically the 14 days extra sick leave because theres a loophole that says any company with over 500 employees are exempt (this includes most major grocery stores). a lot of my coworkers are getting sick and cant come to work and also cant make rent (im in portland and the eviction moratorium is ridiculously exclusionary). i'm almost certain that people are coming in sick because they simply cant afford to stay home unpaid, and dont have access to a covid19 test.
2. last i was there it was business as usual, it was crowded, there was no way we could stay 6ft away from each other, and their excuse for firing the organizer of the walkout in staten island was that he violated this social distancing procedure. i was told by a regional manager to keep distance and practice social distancing, when i got to my station, we were just as crowded and crammed in as before. i brought this up with my area manager and she just said, and i quote "yeah, well, we can't do that."
4/3 UPDATE: The only extra precaution they've taken since I left was that now they are taking temperatures.
3. the 2 dollar raise is pitiful and doesn't protect us at all. we are literally risking our lives coming in to work. we only just now started checking people's temperature before they come into work. 2 weeks after quarantine started.
you can sign bernie sanders petition (it says to donate but if you leave it blank it'll still go through).
also, reach out to your friends who work in warehouses, we have it really rough right now and all of us are stressed out and anxious.
please reblog this updated version of this post! thank you very much
I know this is not about Amazon but I recently saw people celebrating that McDonalds now allows the employees to have sick leave but that does not apply to all workers. The sick leave is only offered to employees who work in corporate owned McDonalds but most McDonalds are independently owned. Workers who work in an independently owned McDonalds do not get paid sick leave. I'm not sure if this has been changed. I'm tired of these companys fucking over the workers and by extent the general public.
capitalism facilitates this behavior. bosses have only ever cared about the bottom line no matter how much they try to pad their PR nowadays. not long ago they were killing workers who went on strike in america to abolish child labor. we have to fight every inch of this battle together. labor is entitled to all that it creates! trans rights.
