I think one of the hardest parts about growing up is that you come to realize there isn't always a clearly defined line between heroes and villains. More often than not, both people are in the wrong in some way, and, though that makes us more human and complex, it also messes with our preconceived notions of fairy tale tropes and comic book rights and wrongs. It's a very stark and, somehow, surprising reality of growing into an adult who is not afraid to say sorry.
