it’s just that it’s always tugged at my heartstrings that he felt the need to make up a completely new façade for himself in order to try and let go of the harshness of his childhood

who would care for poor little orphan Eugene Fitzherbert

so he went on and reinvented himself, but ended up losing himself along the way

and then this girl, this girl who hasn’t known him for two days comes and genuinely tells him what people who probably knew him for years couldn’t tell him

and that’s probably what he craved for the most in the end, just utter and genuine acceptance

and so Rapunzel brought little Eugene back out of Flynn Rider

For the record, Merida is a Pixar character, so she’s far more likely to get a sequel, it just make take a few years, Guardians, also, will probably get a sequel or a short, eventually. Tangled though, well, Disney Animation Studios has only ever done one of those, and it was for Rescuers. Actually, I heard they’ve decided they don’t do sequels any more. Which makes me sad.
