Please help save Toro, the pup that had to be put down because of blood in his urine
Hi guys! I realize this might sound weird, but I am begging you to just hear me out, okay? This is by no means a scam, I can post videos and pictures of the pup, so please don’t think I’m trying to get money from anyone, because that is not what this is about.
What it is about, is Toro, a five month old Malinois pup. His previous owner took him to the vet to put him down, because there’s blood in his urine. The vet refused, because she didn’t know the cause of the bloody urine and she wasn’t going to put him down just like that, and so the owner said he simply didn’t want the pup anymore. Since then, this pup lives at our home while the vet is trying to figure out what’s going on. The thing is, everything she checked so far is clear. His bloodwork, his urine, the echo, multiple scans, none of it shows anything wrong with the pup and Toro looks healthy: his fur is shiny, he’s happy, he’s friendly, he’s active, he runs and plays and sleeps and eats and does everything he’s supposed to do. This is not a pup that should be put down, wouldn’t you agree?
Our vet suspects that there’s a vein disconnected in his kidneys or bladder, which causes blood to end up in his bladder and therefore in his urine. But to confirm this theory, specialists need to take a look at him and that costs a shitload of money. Since our vet has paid for everything so far, we would like to help her out. She’s an incredible person, she has the biggest heart I’ve ever seen in a person and it would mean the world to her if she could take the pup to a clinic so the specialists can once and for all fix Toro’s problem. And that’s where you guys come in: I was wondering if you were willing to donate a small amount of money to help Toro, because if we can locate and fix the problem, he can find new owners who will give him the love and attention and affection he so deserves.
I realize this is a lot to ask of you, but I’m begging you to consider this.
