actually now that im thinking about it for real it depends on what traits exactly they inherited. if they have two more eardrums then that means higher sensitivity to sounds and thus better hearing. however if the other pair of ears is rudimentary then obviously not since it wouldnt work. but that raises the question of how overstimulated the average cog is on a daily basis since we cat anthries have a higher sensitivity to sound than most do and as far as i know the housecog and us share a common ancestor so that means that at some point just about every cog-adjacent ferry had two sets of ears and they mustve become rudimentary due ro the rapid growth of ferry society and eventually just went away completely so to sum it up i think youd have to go back in time to see if they do!
