The shop in the Cliffs has new dialogue in an extremely obscure circumstance.

I don't know what the exact conditions are, but I loaded up my save, spoke to the shopkeeper, and triggered the new dialogue immediately (screenshots under readmore):

Music abruptly stops here:

again, I'm not sure what exactly the conditions are, but on this file, I have the ShadowCrystal, the chapter 5 egg, and took damage from the hidden "FRIEND" encounter in this chapter
