I created a makeshift inflatable Gadget Coat. This is a 6XL trench coat off Temu and I used my custom made drysuit under it to inflate. For inflating it, I just used my 120psi air compressor and a hose. Nothing fancy.

Me inflating up in a custom sized drysuit from Alibaba. I told them that I was a power lifter hence my odd dimensions and need for something custom. Pretty happy with the build quality.

Have you looked at the National Geographic Issue of August 1973? It has an article called "Diving Beneath Arctic Ice" There are some great pictures in it. Including one where the author inflates his drysuit to the point of bursting.
