My name is Ingrid, i was born in germany in 2004. I'm a bisexual cis female and currently in the US as an Au Pair.

I think all of the long-time porsche factory drivers speak some form of german. Sometimes you hear about football clubs having mandatory language lessons for their foreign players, and i think that applies to porsche as well. Ferrari does it too with their drivers for example. Kévins german is really good, he's been a porsche driver for a really long time, his wife is german, and they live in austria, where you speak german.

The wec Porsche #6 crew is kind of funny if you look at it like that, because laurens as well speaks really good german (maybe since childhood?), is married to a german and german is the primary language in his family (I think, he speaks mostly german with his daughter), and André (as a german) obviously speaks german (although compared to english and french it's his least efficient language, as a native speaker you just hear that he almost never speaks german in every day life and is loosing some of it). Additionally, the Porsche penske crew speaks german most of the times you hear them converse in the background of videos and vlogs (laurens latest sao paulo vlog for example).

So the situation on a race weekend is:

Team language: German (or English)

Media language: English (or X for very specific media outlets)

Now you ask, whats the language Kévin, Laurens and André choose to converse in?

It's French.

I'm currently at gtwceu nürburgring and let me tell you.

Despite how accessible this series is.

The amount of people I've witnessed trying to get in without tickets is astonishing. In my prior visits to race tracks (7), I've never seen it once and now at least FIVE TIMES and it's only 10 am on SATURDAY (I've only been here yesterday and today). Two hours ago, someone tried to follow us into the parking garage (where we had reserved a spot) and almost got his windscreen smashed by the barrier. Multiple people were searching for an entry point without a ticket control. Someone tried to open a door that clearly said "alarm will sound", triggered said alarm and almost deafened me whilst i was in the bathroom (the door was in the corridor with the bathrooms). WTF is happening.
