why is it that when a story has a male protagonist/mainly male cast it's "universal" or "a story about humankind" but when it's a female protagonist/mainly female cast, suddenly it's about the "female experience" or "a story for women/girls"??? why are girls supposed to get used to reading/watching medias that depict only boys as the protagonist but boys can't identify with a girl protagonist??
