Hi!!!! Today, I want to talk about this song: “Let’s all make believe” by Oasis

Last vacation, I listened some Oasis songs. I downloaded some albums and one of them was “Standing on the shoulder of giants”. I didn’t like its songs, but this one.

The first time I listened to it, I felt captivated by its rhythm and the way Liam’s voice sounded. I listened to it before I went to sleep. Days later I looked for its lyrics and I was sad.I really love this song

I recommend this song. It’s beautiful

What did I do this weekend?

Hi again! It’s me again!

Today is Sunday and I have to tell you what I did this weekend, I didn’t do interesting things but... I want to write about them

Last Friday, I went to “IVEC” (Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura, translation, I don’t know) with my university friends because I have to look for information about Mexican indigenous people.

It was the first time I went there and I was interested in that place, it’s an important place in my city and I hadn’t been there before.

We talked to some employees and they really helped us. One of them tell us about traditions, facts, and history about the indigenous people we were looking for. My friend Rosa kept a DVD disc called “Xantolo”, it shows some traditions of them, I wanted to watch that video.

Next day, yesterday, on Saturday, I stayed at home because I had a lot of homework and sadly this semester is ending and a lot of university projects are coming,

You know, it’s really tiring

This weekend was like ..

Today, Sunday, I did the same. I stayed at home and I did homework, I haven’t finished yet, but I’m almost finished. yeah!.

While I did my homework, I was listening to “Red Hot Chilli Peppers”. I started to listen to them when I found out that they sang “Californication”, I downloaded that album today in the morning.

Places I visited *Monday: Acapulco

Good morning/afternoon/evening

Today is the last day about places I visited. I want to tell you about my first trip, the first time I traveled. I went to Acapulco! -insert a beach song-

Acapulco it’s a city near the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It’s in the southwest of Mexico, in the State of Guerrero. It’s a nice place for tourists and very popular between Mexican celebrities.

I was 6 years old, I was in elementary school, it was September, in 2003, I don’t remember the day (I was a child please) when my mother said that we were going to travel. I was surprised because she didn’t tell me anything before. We were going to visit family.

Unfortunately, My mother didn’t have a camera in those days.

My mother and I stayed for one week, I didn’t go to school of course, but it doesn’t matter because I met family, I played with my cousins and my aunt, and I had a great time. I want to go again, but they don’t live there anymore. My cousin Ruvicel lives in the USA, My cousin Mayté lives with her husband and my cousin Diego lives with his wife.

I was sad when we had to go back to Veracruz, they said they would visit us, but they didn’t do that. I hope they have a good life.

I will go there someday...

Places I visited *Sunday: San Juan de Ulúa

Hi!

Good morning/afternoon/evening again

Today is the second day about places I visited. Today is Sunday and I want to tell you about a place I visited on Sunday... last year.

That place was San Juan de Ulúa.

I didn’t have to travel to another city, because it’s in my city, Veracruz. It used to be a fortress, a prison and finally an historical place to visit everyday.

I went with my best friend Angela and her family last year... it was in a (very) sunny Sunday morning.She invited me weeks before. She and her family arrived to my house, they talked to my grandmother and then we went to San Juan de Ulúa.

It’s free on Sunday so it was crowded. Cars, tourist buses and a lot of people were there and that was incredible. Before we went in, we bought bottles of water, an umbrella and a palm hat.

We were there for about 4 hours, We followed a group of tourists until the tourist guide asked us for our “prisoners” bracelet, we didn’t buy that so we left that group and we explored in our way. She told us some interesting facts, but I don’t remember them. I know San Juan de Ulua was used in soap operas and movies about Spanish domination and “Chucho, el roto” (A famous Mexican thief, he was like Robin Hood).

That was the first and las time I visited that place and I want to visit it again, alone or with a friend of mine. I recommend you to visit this place, it’s an important place in the Mexican history.

Places I visited *Saturday: Zulzul

Hello! Good morning/afternoon/evening

I want to tell you about the places I visited from today until Monday. This Saturday is about “Zuzul”, a nice place I visited last …. Saturday,

Zuzul is nice place in Vega del Sol, Oaxaca (Mexico) where you can swim, play with friends and family, and you can stay in one of their 6 cabains too

Why was I there? Because I went to the “Lenguas premiere cup”. It was organized by my university’s Languages teachers. Languages students participated in that cup, from second to eighth semester. We stayed there just Friday and Saturday morning.

We were divided in 4 teams and we had to play different games. Some games were in English and other games were in French. French games were the longest and the most difficult.The most important thing was that WE DIDN’T SPEAK SPANISH… It wasn’t easy, I know.

I was in white team, “The Frangleses”. Unfortunately we were the fourth place. At least we were a cheerful and proud team (Until the game “Alaskan Baseball”, we went crazy)
