I met this girl at the block party. She came with a friend of a friend I had met once before. Both were short and thin and nice but she was magnetic. We separated and eventually came back together, Antonio was flirting with her while grinding his teeth heavily off too much Molly. I figured I missed my chance but was fine with that. We all stuck together after that till run the jewels came on. We went in but my friends got consumed to my left and her friend dove bravely to the front. So I was left with her. Lulu. I don't remember the show too much; they played the songs I liked and many others. Parts were wild others not as much. I danced, jumped, nodded and otherwise enjoyed myself. Lulu was right infront of me dancing too. She looked back at me and smiled and I smiled and she did it again and again. After it was over in got her number. We would see each other Sunday. She came late Sunday. I was mostly sober when we met. Awkward at first. Unsure. It's blurry around here. We talked. A lot. In be tween dances That turned, eventually, To me holding her for warmth And Lulu snuggling back Like Someone I've known for A Very Long Time. We were cuddled up. No artist was on. We were near the vera stage. I kissed her. I leaned. She was surprised but still returned my kiss. We danced. Kissed. Hugged. All the best things. We didn't know each other and still don't. I don't know if I'll see Lulu again. But maybe.
