You know what’s making me nervous or like iffy rn, we’re focusing on soldier boy and liberty love here like I get it but also like why, BUT besides the point. I’m wondering now since the episodes are building up to vought rising, what if episode 8 leaves on a cliff hanger in soldier boys “pov” and then we have to wait for the new series like next year to actually see what happened after the battle?? Like cliffhanger, then we have Ben’s pov in vought rising or something like….

EVEN SO QUICK TO THE CLARA THING, I would get it he had romantic feelings for her, but the writers fucked it up in my opinion. Season 3 he’s in love with countess and wanted kids with her, now we have season 5 he was in love with liberty and still in love basically from what I’m seeing. If they wrote season 5 going on, like having countess being mentioned or at least having Ben give a whole ass speech on “he loved liberty first but he wasn’t enough, so when Clara left he decided to try and move on. Then he met countess and thought he’d finally be enough for her yet ofc she and his whole ass team betrays him” like if they went on that sort of route I could’ve understood it….but the writers fucked it up in my opinion on focusing Clara instead of both Clara and countess-

Maybe a funny moment of mother reader, nothing too serious, but imagine reader joining homelander and soldier boy in like bombsight quest, where the computer comes in. Right now reader isn’t with Ben rn, we’re at the coparent stage of just like they know the other is there, but they haven’t really talked about how to get through this.

Reader walks in first and sees the laptop so she opens it first before homelander does. Girlie is immediately seeing her son and a fucked up clara moment and shuts the laptop and looks at her son with a WTF face. Homelander opens it up and is looking at both of his parents trying to excuse his actions. With reader taking off her shoe and repeatedly smacking John’s head not like once as to never do it again ohhhh nooooo. Reader smacks him repeatedly disgusted of her son and walks around pacing the room on how the fuck he is so fucked up in the head.
