Here is the process of my great white. I started with a sketch and I blocked out the color sections. Next I cut and drew onto my block. The first carving is everything I wanted to have be white in my final print. Then I carved everything that was light blue and I carved what I wanted to have be that middle grey blue. Every color I used is of the same base color meaning that I kept the ink between prints and added black to what I had to make a darker and darker blue each time. The last layer to be printed was the black outline color and by then there wasn’t much left of my 12” x 24” block!

Hello, everybody, I want to start by saying thank you to everyone who has been sticking with me even through this long period of inactivity. I promise I'm still here, and I have been here even through this semi-hiatus, but lately a lot of my time has been dedicated towards my Etsy shop and I haven't been able to put my time in towards making new things. I have also been very busy with this being my senior year in high school. I have been taking colleges classes on top of my regular high school classes so I have also put in a lot of my time into studying! What I am wanting to say is that I have genuinely missed having time to create new works, and I know that definitely you guys would enjoy seeing new work from me. So I have been thinking that I will, at least temporarily, be closing my Etsy shop. I feel really great about how many orders I have put out, and I am very proud of it too! But lately it has been giving me a little more stress than I think is necessary. What I am hoping this means is that I will be able to find more time to make new content again and that you guys will be seeing more for me soon! Thank you everyone!
