The Signs As Monsters
Aries: Fast and deadly. They blend into the forest. Will kill you without making a sound. You won't see them until it's too late.
Taurus: Eyes like steel. Spikes stick out from their shoulders. They have a growl that makes your bones vibrate. You hear it before you see it.
Gemini: Red eyes and black feathers. They come come down from the sky in flocks and carry victims away in their claws. They hunt at twilight.
Cancer: They look like beautiful people, but their nails are too sharp and their hair is long and wild. They lure people to their deaths with their attractiveness and sweet voices.
Leo: Giant beasts that tower over the trees. Bright scales and rows of teeth. They have a ferocious roar that shakes the ground. They enjoy stepping on people but are careful to not hurt other monsters.
Virgo: Small but clever. With large violet eyes and grey fur. They will snuggle into your arms and then scratch and slice you with their claws. They always win.
Libra: Slithers in trees with glistening scales. They strangle passing humans and eat them whole.
Scorpio: Very very fast. You only see a passing shadow. If you feel a sharp pinch then you're already doomed. It only takes a few moments for the poison to set in.
Sagittarius: Bright eyes and gorgeous teeth. They float behind you and sing lullabies in a strange language until you fall asleep. You'll never wake up.
Capricorn: They decorate the forest with exotic flowers and grow vines from their tail. It will come at you from behind as you admire their work.
Aquarius: They look like humans with extra limbs. Too many arms and legs. Five eyes and no nose. Yet they move beautifully and aren't actually dangerous. People just fear them because they do not understand them.
Pisces: They move in packs and hiss at the moon. They have bright blue eyes and silver fur. They come at you from all directions.

Voices
Does anyone else have that ONE voice that comes into their head every once in a while and you can't even describe it sometimes(or at least I can't) and it seriously drives you INSANE!! Ugh... I have that voice in my head right now đ
"Why don't I identify with my _________ sign?"
The planet may be weakly aspected, overruled or overlapped by another placement, in Detriment or Fall, in a house where it is not comfortable, or negatively aspected with other strong parts of your chart. Those are the most common (and likely) reasons, but there are specific possibilities for each planet and either luminary, so I will explain them below.
SUN: The Sun is your base personality, your ego, or your sense of self. This is you on the simplest and most succinct level, but certainly not the most comprehensive. While your Sun sign will have a kind of influence over every part of your life and character, it is merely the starting point â your other planetary placements add to and alter those traits. For example, if you are a Libra, you may not feel like a charming or flirtatious person as many stereotypes suggest, but that might be due to your Virgo Venus. I find that the sign your Mercury is in while have a great impact on what you do and donât relate to, and Iâll get to that in a second.
MOON: The Moon is your heart and your past. It is about feelings and oneâs core wants and needs. However, your Moon sign describes your natural way of operating on an emotional level, and many people grow past that. It is what you inherently or somehow immediately know, somewhat like the way babies cry to communicate every imaginable emotion that they feel must be conveyed â except, for example, if you have a Sagittarius Moon, your instinct may be to run, be careless or optimistic rather than to cry. Thatâs what the Moon is about: instincts. And instincts can be manipulated or ignored in order for you to grow.
MERCURY: Mercury is the way you think, speak, and learn. It is the intellectual planet, having everything to do with the mind. That being said, your Mercury sign is the one you think like, and it is very common for this to be a sign one greatly identifies with. However, itâs easy for the Sun to overrule this planetâs position, and itâs also easy to overanalyze your reactions and inner processes to the point of seeing yourself as something youâre not, which is something Iâve noticed is exceptionally common with people who have Mercury in Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces (the signs where it is in Domicile, Exaltation, Detriment, and Fall).
VENUS: Venus is your romantic and artistic side (or lack thereof). This planet rules the love and beauty department. The way you express affection (either romantically or platonically), your opinion on art and fashion, and your aesthetic choices will be determined by your Venus sign. It is possible for the Sun to overlap this placement as well, but also Mercury, especially if youâre a thinking-over-feeling type of person, and Mars, which rules passion and ambition. It is also not uncommon for someone to have chosen to condition themselves to behave a certain way in relationships or during creative exploits due to life circumstances or even simply their personal philosophies on those subjects.
MARS: Mars is your sex drive and determination. Mars is the planet of action, and thus it rules when, how, and where you choose to act upon strong feelings and intentions. Your Moon and Saturn signs have a great impact on this planetâs expression, and can restrict it to the point where you no longer trust your Mars impulses or reactions. I believe that the Mars sign is too ordinarily suppressed, and the reason you might not relate to it is that you could be ignoring it, refusing to acknowledge it as a relevant part of you.
JUPITER: Jupiter is your luck, morals, and life path. This planet is not only about what youâre good at and how staying true to that will benefit you, but how it can benefit others as well, and whether or not profiting yourself is more important to you than profiting others. However, since this sign also points to the lifestyle that will prove virtuous to you, it is something you have to grow into. Jupiter identification, unless another placement implies otherwise, is something that must be searched for and discovered, or accidentally (luckily) stumbled upon. And age has nothing to do with that.
SATURN: Saturn is your fear and sense of obligation. Saturn is the planet that tells you, âNo, you canât do that!â for a slew of probably irrelevant reasons that, strangely, mean a lot to you, and seem logical enough when at that moment but later look like nothing but irrational excuses that cushion oneâs inhibitions. It is said that Saturn is the karmic planet, which means that it points to the negative things you did or that happened to you in your past life which will come back to haunt you in this one. Other than the general probabilities as to why you donât relate with a particular planetary position, there arenât usually many things clouding your ability to relate to it, and you might just not have encountered its affects on you yet.
URANUS: Uranus is your innovation and need for change. It is the planet that rules your inner rebel, but primarily values progression over wanting to âshake things up.â It is all about caring for humanity and community while still being original and unique. Ironically (and quite amusingly), the planet of individuality is one of the slowest to move, so extremely large groups of people will have the same Uranus sign. It, along with the next two on this list, is considered a generational planet, and you may not relate to it because itâs not meant for you to relate to, personally, but for your entire peer group, as well. If you want to notice the affects of this planet, look perhaps not directly inward and at yourself, but at the entire population of people who share your Uranus sign.
NEPTUNE: Neptune is your imagination and receptivity. It is about all things illusory and inspiring, desired but unreachable, mysterious but widely searched for. Neptune rules everything divine, whatever is beyond; it is perhaps the most spiritual planet, next to Pluto. But its influence is often hidden and shrouded in confusion. If you donât relate to it, start looking in unfamiliar or frustratingly evasive places, such as the truth and fate of this generation and the last. You may find its affects amidst chaos and healing alike.
PLUTO: Pluto rules all powerful transformation and regeneration. This planet can take up to thirty years to change signs, so if you do not see its affects in yourself, look at the last few generations and all the great, irreversible changes that have been made during their time.
Trust me â it can take a lot of time to find the way a planetary placement applies to you personally, but humans are complex creatures and if you dig deep enough, I guarantee that astrology will become significantly reflective to you.

Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff may not seem related to Drifloon, but both of them are classified by the pokedex as the âBalloon Pokemonâ. The furry pink singers from generation 1 may not be literal balloons, but that doesnât make them any less incredible. Wigglytuff can inflate itself to incredible volumes:
Thereâs a lot of advantage to be had in being able to inflate like this. Looking bigger, badder, and more intimidating is a great way to fend off predators. Thereâs actually a ton of animals that do this in our world, one of the most easily recognizable being a puffer fish:
To inflate, a pufferfish unhinges its jaw and sucks in insane amounts of water: around 35 gulps of water in 14 seconds. Itâs stretchy stomach and lack of a rib cage let it expand to over 3 times its own size, upon which it closes off itâs esophagus to stopper it all inside its stomach. Itâs water, and not air that allows a pufferfish to inflate, but other animals can use air just as easily!
Puff adders are snakes that puff up to appear bigger to scare off predators. Sort of like puffer fish, these snakes will take in massive amounts of air to puff up and look bigger than they actually are.
Birds are another great example of this. Birds have a really interesting respiratory system thatâs not quite like ours. We talked a lot about their vocal system when we covered Chatot, but birds also have multiple organs called air sacs which do all of the âpumpingâ in their breathing, so all that their lungs have to do is absorb the oxygen. Humans have our muscle called the diaphragm which allows us to expand and shrink our lungs, but birds instead use their air sacs! Most birds have 9 air sacs in their bodies, but some have as few as 7 or as many as 12. In any case, these air sacs are exactly as simple as they sound. They expand and fill with air, which not only helps with breathing but allows many birds to puff up and appear larger! The majestic Frigatebird is an extreme example of this ability, inflating its chest like a balloon:
But Wigglytuff is a mammal, right? No problem. Many chimpanzees and other primates have inflatable throat sacks a lot like a birdâs, used for mating displays and so on. Or a Walrus, who uses its air sacks as buoys. A walrus will inflate its throat sacs to help it stay afloat above water!
Interestingly enough, most of these creaturesâ inflation mechanisms serve another purpose: they are great for producing all kinds of noises. Walruses use theirs to make ringing sounds that attract mates, howler monkeys use the extra space to amplify their screeches, puff adders make loud sudden noises in addition to their increase in size to scare off predators, and a birdâs complicated respiratory system is half of the reason they can makes all of the cool sounds that they do. If thereâs anything more important about the Jigglypuff line than their inflation, it has to be their song. This is why their balloon-ability makes total sense from a biological standpoint; the wigglytuff family obviously has a very important, precise vocal and respiratory system. Wigglytuffâs air sacks not only allow them to inflate like balloons, but it gives them control over the volume, pitch, and overall versatility of their voices.
Wigglytuff has organs called air sacs in its body, which allow it to expand like a balloon. Additionally, Wigglytuffâs air sacs give it more versatility over the power and control of their voice.
