i styled this theme after my neocities, which i believe is one of my biggest coding accomplishments! i thought it would look good as a theme, so here we are!

features: dropdown menu, marquee description (endless scrolling or back and forth), hover tags, redirect, custom cursor, fuck…….you got a lot. overall, though, it’s mostly simple. customizable though. you got a lot of fonts. thanks
notes: so if u do the dropdown menu keep the link titles short (/1, 1, A, etc.) but if u can figure out a way to put it under the still text then go ham. yes i made this theme. my boyfriend is gay. have a good day and watch us (2019)

i somehow managed to watch three full seasons of house while tweaking this but it’s really customizable and versatile imo so it was worth the headache. it was supposed to be computer-y (hence the 707 preview) but i’m a complete poser and i don’t understand the hacker aesthetic

custom link images (up to four)
optional search bar / title
custom username
blinking cursor (customizable color)
500px posts
customizable font (and title font) size
can toggle captions on / off
webkit scrollbar (only works on chrome)
optional blur on post photos
full or tiled background image
optional container / icon shadow
there are also options to manage the margins of the container / searchbar / links and it’s highly dependent on your individual tastes. if it gets confusing or if you find any issues, feel free to send me an ask

Layout
1 column with sidebar. 400px width posts.
Scrollbar and sidebar can be inside the container or not.
Sidebar has optional image, description, links and search. If you leave the “Search placeholder” empty it will use the language your blog is set to.
Most things can be set to be opaque (button-like) or not.
Posts
Reblogs are displayed like chat messages that can pop out from under the OP. Forgive the awful gif. You can change how the username, “show” button and icons look.
Misc
Optional tag redirect / Custom tooltips compatible with modern jquery / Use any font (including import from google fonts etc) and set a fallback type if someone can’t load it.
Notes
On the theme preview only, you might see the reblogs and posts with the “neue post format” look broken. They will look fine on the live version.
If there’s any other issue with photosets in text posts displaying wrong, please send us a link to it so we can fix it. If you don’t want to, turning “use new post types” off on your theme settings will fix it.
