[LOADING... TW: BODY HORROR, EXPERIMENTATION, LIMB LOSS, GENERAL TRAUMA.]
*Oversight couldn't move. Or see. Or really do anything. Everything was all stuffy and stiff, his entire body ached as it had fallen from the sky from being shot down by something and then restricted.*
*he felt something being injected into its arm, causing him to recoil in pain despite the amount of anesthetics and restraints it was under. He felt it's horns begin to spread across his face, screaming in pain for someone to help it- but nobody came. His eyes snapped open as it looked around after hearing screaming other than his own, and it watched an innocent person getting attacked by something- terrifying, screaming about wanting their skin so they can be normal again. He sensed the agony in the beast- and it knew what he must do.*
*days after the incident, Oversight woke up somewhere unfamiliar. It was in a containment cell, chained to the ground by the neck and alone. He felt different, stretching and then realizing something- it had lost an arm, a wing, and two horns. And most of his eyes. Ouch! It saw that any injuries were mostly healed anyways, and there was no way he was getting back that arm any time soon...*
*It perked up as the containment cell door opened, and two humans in strange equipment appeared. He recognized one of them as the one it saved, tilting his head a little bit seeing them. It could see something above them, floating like a marker of doom as he stared at the oddity.*
*it sensed the danger the human was in as they approached him, and so it acted by tapping the human's head three times, removing the mark of doom set on them. The worker was quite confused, but thanked him for the help.*
*it had been a few days in this universe's time that it had been contained. He fidgeted with its fingers, tapping them on the ground as he rested. The loneliness was starting to get to it as he scratched the words "I WANT TO GO HOME" into the walls. The door opened again and a now familiar face to Oversight appeared.*
*Oversight shook its head a bit.*
"... you want to talk about it?"
"... okay. Do you want something to eat?"
*Oversight nodded, watching as the employee he now knew as Eden exited the room to get it some food.*
*as Oversight waited for the food, he began to fold some clean papers it managed to get from a researcher into tiny paper hats and cranes, whatever he could think of at the moment. Kills some time, anyways. It watched as Eden returned to the room with some cooked steak and cheesey broccoli, perking up at the delicious smell.*
"Here, I managed to snag some extra from the lunch room after everyone ate. Don't worry about me, I already ate- I know how worried you got last time, hehe."
*Oversight thanked Eden for the food as he picked up the provided utensils and made sure to eat slowly as to get the most out of it.*
"I'm curious... how exactly can you understand me? Most anomalies that are contained in this department can't really do that..."
*Oversight thought for a moment as it chewed on the last bit of his steak. It then got an idea- if talking with his voice is off the table then...*
*Oversight signed "CAN YOU UNDESTAND SIGN LANGUAGE?" To Eden's startle.*
"Yes, it's part of my... training- but I didn't know you did?"
*Oversight sighed in relief, signing "GOOD, WE CAN TALK A LITTLE BIT EASIER NOW, THEN." With a sheepish look on it's face.*
*as the days passed by, Oversight grew more and more restless, he had been wearing down on the chains that were holding it little by little, and researching the dangers and possible obstacles of this place... and then suddenly, he felt a great amount of energy arise. It knew that this energy- this boundless light, would kill an incredible amount of people if he didn't intervene...*
*it eventually managed to snap one of the chains, rushing towards the boundless light and taking a branch to keep it from destroying everything, and then drawing his way out- his way home. It did one last thing before leaving, rushing up to Eden who was on break.*
*"THANK YOU, PLEASE LIVE A GOOD LIFE" was what he signed, before leaving for home.*
*Oversight was hugged tightly by Lovesaber, who worriedly checked in on it after all that he had went though. It turns out, instead of the month that oversight had experienced, he had only been gone for a few days. Yet, Lovesaber was still worried sick, for very good reason! Oversight doesn't usually just dissapear like that!
*Oversight, knowing that it was safe now, finally, finally relaxed as they went back home.*
