I really enjoy drawing in this more toony style. I should do it more often.

Arsène Lupin, losely based on the short story 'Le Sept de cœur / Seven of Hearts'
Test renders of Henns Face
wow who‘s that
I painted these fellas to (1) strengthen my anatomy knowledge and (2) practice rendering skin. And I really like how they turned out, so you get to see them too.
Woe, half naked men be upon ye 🤲
Feels kind of weird to post after not doing so for over two months lmao. I just wanted to give a quick update on my doings for the 5 buds that follow me on here.
I did so much stuff, but generally it has been really nice to just not think about social media for a while (even tho I barely use it in the first place) and focus on other things.
I found that I enjoy reading books on art theory. Including the rather dry and technical kind. I read a lot of them recently! I made a bunch of study sketches and I think my style shifted a little bit with it. Really cool stuff. Maybe I write down some recommendations on certain topics at one point.
I coded my own website! It's part of the indie web revival. I made 3D assets in Blender for said website. I also finally sat my ass down and properly studied anatomy and my art looks better then ever before. Awesome!! Not art-related but I also very recently started hitting the gym. It's been on my mind for ages and I'm very proud of myself that I finally did it.
I wish I could take a break from my job for 3 years just to work on all my projects. Anyways, anyways- I hope I have something to share soon art-wise :) but know that I'm still alive and doing great.
Dudee that recent painting is so damn good I thought the shield and the frame were 3d assets you made for a sec
Thank you so much!! You're not completely off, tho. While the shields and frame are painted from scratch, the sword on the left side is actually a render from the asset I made for my 3d Henn model. It was a good use case to save some time, since the entire texture of that sword was painted by me anyway. ... now that I think about it, it's less of a 3d model that I included, and more just a repurpose of a texture I already made (since the front side of the sword model is pretty much flat).
Embrace the present, reject the past, deny the future.
I love this little drawing of Virgil so much. Local asshole has a great day.
Munti is finally done!! I feel like I'm really getting the hang of modeling characters in Blender.
Next up is figuring out how to build environments so that I can move them out of the black void they currently inhabit.
Turnaround:
*takes the chicken from your manuscript and rotates it horizontaly*
based on a design I made for one of my manuscript illustrations.
plus a little bonus animation
2025 was a really nice year for me art-wise. I made a lot of works I really enjoyed and also learned a couple of things I always wanted to get into! Especially doing historical manuscript-inspired art and, most recently, making 3D models in Blender!!
I also feel like I (especially in the last third of the year) majorly improved on my stylization and linework. This is super exciting to me and I'm really looking forward to what I'm going to do with these new skills in the coming months.
Holllyy shit that 3d model is so awesome!! Do you have any tips for anyone who'd want to make one like it?
Thank you very much!! I'm humbled that you're asking me for advice, but I have to somewhat disappoint you- I started learning Blender exactly 20 days ago, so I know pretty much nothing besides the things I learned from entry-level tutorials on YouTube. But I can at least share with you the exact videos I've watched and what helped me get started on my Blender journey.
Trying some "proper" animation with my new model of Henn. I knew animating in general would be difficult for me but god dang, this is HARD.
Finally, the result of dumping all my free time into Blender for the past 1.5 weeks. My second fully finished model.
I learned a lot about texturing, rigging and post-processing while making this model of my oc Henn and I'm SO happy with what I ended up with. I still have some work to do on her rigging but I'm already super excited for all the things I can do with this model. (I'm also already looking forward to making models of all my other characters lmao)
I tweaked the Kevin model and taught myself how to animate in Blender!! Time to get silly!!!
I've caught an itch that suddenly made me want to learn how to use Blender from scratch. Right now.
This is my first completed model, a PS1 styled Carp Boy Kevin. He is fully rigged and has additional eye shapes.
