Loving this rare pic of Glam Rock!Micky at the DJBH Riverboat Show in 1976.

March 8: Micky Dolenz celebrates his 71st birthday today. One of the greatest vocalists in the history of rock, Micky, of course, sang lead on many of the Monkees’ classic 1960s hits. RCA Victor distributed the band’s records in those days, but today’s photo comes from the Columbia/Epic library: it captures Micky coming out of a swingin’ Sunset Strip party held for Epic stars the Hollies in 1968.

To add to that post, here’s a bunch of photos of the Monkees with koalas.
