Hello all. The recent events at Pulse Nightclub have left me deeply hurt and angered. As someone who often processes emotions through art making, I feel the need to respond to this tragedy personally, through the movement of hand on paper. It occurred to me that a larger scale art project could provide an opportunity for many queer artists to commemorate the lives of the Pulse victims. Please join me in getting the word out about the Portraits for Pulse project. Let’s bring some positivity back into the world together.
