The Deli in Fairfax
On my way to get some coffee at Starbucks, I noticed that the Quiznos next door was closed.  There was a sign in the window that said âThe Deli.â  If itâs the same one that Iâm thinking of, thereâs already one in Fairfax, next to the KMart.  That location is pretty old and dated so this would be a nice upgrade.  The current location is pretty desolate too.  If youâve never tried a sub from TheâŚ

Plans for Chiliâs in Fairfax
Driving past the now closed Chiliâs in Fairfax, I saw construction going on. Â Weâre late to the game, but it looks like a new Tex-Mex restaurant called Chuyâs will be the new tenant. Â According to their website, it will be opening in late August.
 Each location is unique so no two restaurants are the same.  Sounds like itâll be a Mexican version of the old TGI Fridays.  âEvery year on ElvisâŚ

If youâve driven down Route 29 lately, youâve probably noticed that the 29 Diner was closed. This landmark has been there as long as I can remember. Honestly, Iâve never eaten there but the building is etched in to my memory.
The WaPo is reporting that the 29 Diner is coming back under new ownership. The building and the land is still owned by the original owners, the Glascocks. Mr. John K WoodâŚ
