the fact archie and sabrina are dating in the comics is great.

even just holding the burger in his hands, feeling the grease and the soft bun on his fingertips, is enough to bring adam some kind of joy. more than he’s felt in years, obviously, and he’s content to sit and look and enjoy for a few seconds. the first bite tastes like the best thing he’s ever had in his life, and he can’t even help the contentment that spreads across his features. “ hey, it still is my body, ” he says after swallowing the bite, finally looking away from the food and to michael instead. the disgust on the archangel’s face almost makes him laugh, but he holds it back in favour of continuing, “ and we’ve been stuck in hell for years. let me enjoy this. you can go and eat fruit or angelic nectar or whatever it is you want after this. ” what do angels even eat? do they need to? in hell it wasn’t really an issue, but now these questions are going to start cropping up all over the place. he’d never thought to ask before, when they had all the time in the underworld. “ have you ever even tried a burger before? or even had a sip of coke? don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it, mikey. ”
“Our body.“ He would add that it stopped being Adam’s body the moment he agreed to letting him use as a vessel. But they were back on Earth, a place Adam knows more than the archangel himself and he would just argue when he needs to. “Angelic nectar? Really, Adam. I’m not a bird.” Or a bee for that matter, but the comment does force an amused laugh out of his lips, however brief it was.
there is a low groan of discomfort at the use of the nickname. mikey. they are going to need to talk about that one moment or later. “I hardly spend time on Earth before the Cage. There was no need. I was busy ruling Heaven on my Father’s absence.” And while he wasn’t humanity’s biggest fan as someone would say considering he sided with his father during the Angelic War, he didn’t despise them. But that didn’t meant he wanted to spend time with them.
“So no. I haven’t tried a burger or coke. And before you ask, neither alcohol. And neither should you, our body seem to have low tolerance for it. You, at least.” He isn’t sure he could ever drink the amount he needs to get drunk, as they say. He pushes the plate closer to Adam, resignation on his face before he nods. “Have at it, kid. Enjoy it.“

“The Spellmans” Lilith repeated, smiling widely as she nodded in a display of recognition, “Of course. Sabrina was one of my best students in my class…back before I was Principal. She spends more of her time at the Academy now….” Finally with others on the Path of Night, those that would draw Sabrina closer and make Lilith’s job of keeping her on that path just a little bit easier…”But she does, on occasion, visit. Mostly at my cottage. I’m sure you agree that a…High School office isn’t really as…private as any witch would like”
Lilith looked at this resurrected witch, this cousin of the Spellmans, and wondered what type of cousin she was. One that would encourage Sabrina down the Dark Lord’s back, or one that would send her right back into the arms of her mortals? She was certainly an…explosive personality, if even Zelda Spellman felt she would benefit from the company of mortals.
“And what preparations have Sabrina’s Aunts arranged for your Baptism?” She asked, brow furrowing with interest and suspicion, “They’re not having you take lessons with Faustus Blackwood, are they?” She rolled her eyes in impatience at the mere thought of him, “A waste of a warlock, and of a High Priest” Lilith took her feet off her desk, swinging around in her chair to look at Madison with wide-eyed intensity, “Why don’t I prepare you for your Dark Baptism?” Lilith suggested. “A witch should be taught be other witches…and someone outside of your family will remove the chance of any…awkward dyanmics”
“Hardly anything really. But they wanted me to talk to Faustus Blackwood, yes. Talk to the higher power or whatever.“ She already did that back in New Orleans on her first Baptism. But New Orleans was different and they did things differently. Her aunt Zelda wanted her to do it properly this time, and this time, her name would not be erased even in death. Not that she has plans of dying any time soon.
Perfect eyebrows raised at the proposal. She doesn’t really mind any of the candidates to teach her and prepare her. “And they want me to choose a familiar, of course.” She had lost her last one. Rules don’t apply to you anymore when you spend eternity in hell. Apparently, it meant she was untouched and prepared for the dark lord all over again. Lucky her. Or lucky Satan. “I don’t really know either of you. But my past experience with men make me want to hex every one I see. So sure, whatever, I would he honored if you taught me.” And if Sabrina was keen on this one, it meant only that she was good.
But there is something underneath the surface that makes Madison more curious. She puts the scarf from her neck away, revealing the neck scar without much trouble, before shaking her box of cigarettes. “You don’t mind, do you? It’s the only thing that makes me feel anything these days.”
