when the 1.6 patch notes said "pets that love you will sometimes bring you gifts" i did not think that meant my cat would head to the lake, wrestle a fish twice his size out of the water, and drag it home to me

Hayden Christensen behind the scenes of Attack of the Clones and Ahsoka
why is nobody talking about the way Joyce cradles Will in the background of this scene??? 😩
“Percy, it could be dangerous for you if you don't know how to [swim]. One day, it could be really, really important, and I may not be there to help you when that happens, so I need to make sure you can do it.”
Age regressor Leon hcs! ☀️
Nothing violent but keep in mind this boy has ptsd! Been through a lot, just be cautious reading ^^
Headspace is all over the place. Sometimes he goes very young (0-2) which is almost always involuntary and caused by his triggers. Usually his most relaxed headspace is 4-7 and is where he prefers it. Very occasionally he goes older (10-13) which he absolutely hates as that age for him is mainly angry and can lash out. He also can subtly slip into puppy regression and does that more often than he thinks. And sometimes he can go through all of those ages in a day, his headspace is super inconsistent and fully dependent on his environment.
Neat freak - after RC he can’t stand his space being dirty. The thought of bugs, mold, and even seeing a layer of dust sends him into a panic.
Always needs to be clean. Extremely good hygiene with frequent showers and brushes his teeth more than twice a day. Refuses to seem or feel dirty after the events of RC.
Puppy.. strong desire to be obedient when regressed. ADORES praise and gets genuinely devastated when ignored.
Likes adventurous chapter books (mainly featuring dogs) as they help him to process his own missions. Puppy Pirates is a favorite but also likes Dog Man and Stick Dog depending on his headspace at the time.
Plays Plants Vs Zombies on his phone. Gentle children’s zombie media is another thing that helps Leon process and desensitize himself to the bioterrorism in his adult life.
Favorite book both little and big is Don Quixote. Reads it himself when big and either has an audiobook read it to him when small. It reminds him of Luis and all the better times with him.
Big fan of cartoons. Usually older ones like Scooby doo or Peanuts but also enjoys Paw Patrol for the sense of heroism (Chase is his favorite) and Blues Clues.
GOLD STAR METHOD! Absolutely excels when offered a reward at the end of a task. Pure joy on his face when given a gold star for a job well done.
Coloring and drawing soothes him without fail. Will quietly sit in a corner and draw or color while his cg does paper work. Also a big fan of sensory items, specifically tangles and squishies.
Very quiet baby bordering on non verbal. Capable of mumbling answers but he’s overall quite shy and feels embarrassed when he mixes up words or babbles.
Car rides are exciting and he will always point out anything and everything he finds interesting.
Keeps a weighted stuffed animal in his bed and uses it on rough nights, particularly when it’s thundering. Will pile tons of blankets onto his bed and stay under them with a flashlight and his plushie on his chest.
Can’t sleep in the dark. Needs a nightlight big and small. When he’s small he has his glow in the dark stars and a Chase Paw Patrol pillow pet with the light up back. When he’s away from his apartment and big he has a portable plug in night light that he takes everywhere, as well as always having a flash light on hand.
Has a hard time eating. He frequently wakes up nauseous and will refuse to eat despite knowing eating will make him feel better. His fear of vomiting and getting sick in any capacity always wins over his rational side.
Compression and fuzzy socks combo >>> he has fuzzy socks with paws on the bottoms and ones with little dog faces on the fronts. Leon has some crazy arthritis and full body aches and the compression on his calves combined with the comforting yet discreet fuzzy socks is a go to for him.
Has a gold/bronze necklace with a crucifix on it that he refuses to take off. Being Italian American, he was raised Catholic and still holds onto that part of himself for a semblance of normalcy. He’s not sure what he believes in now that he’s older, but the weight of the necklace grounds him during hard times.
Bought a small brown puppy stuffed animal after the events of RC. His brain was muddled and he wasn’t sure what was going on at first, all he knew was that he wanted to feel better. He named the puppy Officer Putty and cuddled it while feeling like he was doing something bad. After a few months when he was more comfortable in his regression, he bought the plush a black collar and matching tag reading “Putty” as well as a K9 police tag. Putty was his first regression item and is small enough to stuff in his bag when working, it’s the only comfort item he brings everywhere.
