This is Ken Blight using what appears to be a collapsible bathtup while on occupation duty in 1947 Japan.  I would have thought permanent bathing facilities would have been in place by then, but maybe he was testing field gear.

Continuing with our Australian military theme for our “barely G-rated” posts.  We start with these 1942 Australian servicemen who seem to have found a swimming hole near Darwin.  I hope they checked for crocodiles first.

Military medical exams is our theme for Saturday.  They probably told these American recruits that the livestock fence would cover their privates when the photo was made.  They lied.
