Throwback to one of my favourite #prepregnancy ab focussed workouts that includes exercises to target your obliques and your transverse abdominis (deep abdominal muscle). A common misconception I often hear from my clients is that crunches are the be all and end all to strong, lean abs. This is NOT the case! Although a good abdominal exercise, crunches only target our superficial (outer) abdominal muscles which is not necessarily the most effective way to achieve strong abs. For those looking to build well-rounded strength in your abdominals, try the below workout:⁣ ⁣ ✅Side Plank & Oblique Crunch - 15 reps (per side)⁣ ✅Side Plank Hip Lifts - 15 reps (per side)⁣ ✅Single Leg Ab Bike - 15 reps (per side)⁣ ✅Heel Taps - 30 reps⁣ ✅Standing Oblique Crunch - 15 reps (per side)⁣ ✅Russian Twist - 30 reps⁣ ✅Plank - 60 seconds⁣ ✅X Mountain Climber - 30 reps⁣ ✅Bent Leg Jackknife - 15 reps⁣ ⁣ Tip: For beginners, aim for 2 rounds focussing on your technique over pace. For intermediate and advanced, aim for 3-4 rounds, increasing the intensity through shortening your rest. It seems like vaping is everywhere. The industry has seen a spike in recent years as sweet and fruity flavors have taken hold, especially among young adults and teenagers. And this summer there’s been a mysterious outbreak of critical lung disease. In fact, at least 193 potential cases (and 1 death) have been reported in teenagers and young adults. This is forcing federal agencies to grapple with the vast, nearly unregulated market of nicotine- and marijuana-based vaping products. But since the first case was logged in June, agencies haven’t yet released any product recalls or details about which products may be causing the illness.
