Angel smiled. “I would love to give you a tour of the institute.” He told Kira before putting his arrows and bow on his back before glamouring it away. “I’m Angel, by the way.”

“My name is Kira Lionheart, I’m the envoy sent by the Clave. Don’t hold it against me, though,” she smiled and nodded her head. “After you, Angelo.”

“Excuse me,” Kira said, approaching the other. “It’s my first day in this Institute, would you mind giving me a short tour? Sir Arthur Rosedale assigned somebody to do this, but they didn’t show up.”

Like Old Times || CLOSED

The files seemed to go on and on and on for Conrad, his eyes glossing over each major player of the Institute carefully. He had to admit, it was fun to look at such top secret files amongst a throng of mundanes completely unaware of the Shadowworld. Going about their business completely clueless to the Seelies, warlocks, and werewolves walking among them. But he was excited. Arthur granting him this opportunity was one he couldn’t pass up and it smoothly tied in to his work in Parliament. Anything strange happened? He would be the first to know.

Conrad glanced down at his watch. 7:45pm. As punctual as ever, just like old times. A faint smirk grazed Conrad’s lips before his hand reached forward to grasp the handle of his cup of tea.

It was pure luck that Arthur managed to get out of the Institute early, and he thanked the angel for finally giving him time to relax for a bit. He walked into The Daily Grind at around exactly 7:45 PM and after ordering, he spotted Conrad on one of the tables. Arthur sauntered to the direction, cast his signature warming smile at his best friend and sat.

“I’ve missed back then when I was still a free Shadowhunter,” Arthur said, chuckling, “So many papers to sign especially now that the Institute is still recovering from the last attack.” He took a sip from his tea and said, “What about you, Conrad? How has working for the Parliament been?”

“Greetings, Madame Stoker, thank you for taking the time. Please, have a seat,” Arthur smiled, greeting with his usual charming class when Reese entered his office. The High Warlock had been invited to discuss matters with Sir Arthur, who aimed to unite the nephilim and the downworld. “I would like to get straight to the point, if I may. I have noticed a drop in Downworld activity and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t the least bit worried. Would it be okay to ask of you to lend some insight on the matter?” Arthur asked politely.
