“Never trust your tongue when your heart is bitter.”
— Samuel J. Hurwitt
Imam Shafi’i رحمه الله:
“If you want to fix your heart, or would like to see improvement in your child or friend, or anyone for that matter, then direct them to places where the Qur’an is recited and direct them to be in the company of the Qur’an. Allah will then cause them to become better, regardless of whether they want to or not!”

Whether you’re blossoming or struggling, I’ll stay with you, I’ll keep on loving you
This date last year.... Time flies🕊 #hiawakamigettinganyflowers
“And so I pray for you. Because, that’s all I can do now.”

“Be with someone who will take care of you. Not materialistically, but take care of your soul, your well-being, your heart, and everything that’s you.”

A respectful man once told me,
" Macam mana nak pasti seseorang lelaki nak bimbing isteri dan keluarga kalau dia tak tahu baca Quran"
" How do you guarantee a man to guide you and your family if he is not able to read the Quran"
يا الله
I did call your name. A hundred times, a thousand times. Desperate and devastated. You have answered me. A hundred million times.
No matter how shameless I become and how deep in sin I am, I always feel my heart telling me to repent and try to improve, I just wish my heart could be the king and my limbs and tongue its soldiers, but these sins have turned my heart into a beggar whose pleas are often heard but rarely listened to, please God just fix me before I meet you as someone so evil that I can’t even look at them in a mirror
MIMPI Dreamt about you, again. It felt so real. I cried when i saw you. Black box, you're such a beauty🕋
The sinner will find himself lonely and sad.
Ibn al Qayyim, Sins and their Punishments (via aboonoor)
القوة ليست دائماً في ما نقول ونفعل، أحياناً تكون فيما نصمت عنه، فيما نتركه بإرادتنا، وفيما نتجاهله Strength isn’t always in what we say and do, sometimes it is in what we are silent about, in what we leave or ignore.

To be able to understand and memorise the quran by heart with full of love... Ma Shaa Allah
..
أحبّني يا الله ،،
وأجعل ملائكة السماء من حُبك تُحبّني فلا الأرض موطني ولا أهلُ الأرض غايتي ،،

Oh patient soul, this is only a moment that will pass, then everything will go away and disappear!
Ibn al-Qayyim, Péchés et Guérison (p. 265)
A little too busy... A little too silent...
I get way too sensitive when I get attached to someone. I can detect the slightest change in the tone of their voice, and suddenly I’m spending all day trying to figure out what I did wrong.
Brandon Stanton, Humans of New York (via wordsnquotes)
