It has been ages since I've done a painted style with digital, and I love how this one turned out. Local undead cleric is tired of her adventuring party's shenanigans.

LAPD detonated 5000 lbs of fireworks in the middle of a residential area, injuring at least 17 people and causing $900 million in various damages in a low-income, majority-POC neighborhood.
They then continue to pursue caging the person whose fireworks they stole while news media misreports to cover for police incompetency and destruction.
post on the damages
post on the explosion
in depth article
The LAPD destroyed much of a South L.A. neighborhood, but would not identify the officers involved. Through investigative records, court doc
It took TWO YEARS to get the names of those involved with this incident. There are people still protesting, still living in hotels, still with unfulfilled claims to the city from this shit
Anyways, did you know that there is one single law passed in 1947 that single handedly killed US Labor. You didn't well let me explain what it did. The Taft Hartley Act banned mass strikes, closed shops, wildcat stikes, solidarity strikes, unions donations to political campaigns, secondary boycotts, required labor organizers to swear to the NLRB that they weren't Communists and It passed despite a fucking presidential Veto.
You know what the Democrats should campaign on repealing in 2024? Maybe it starts with a T and ends in aft Hartley Act. I mean it could help them win the Midwest because every man in Wisconsin is a Union
All I'm saying is we were able to repeal the DoMA last year, why not repeal some more shitty laws this year. It would be fun your honor
This is why they don't let me get drunk at parties, I apparently start scaring the hoes or something by explaining the history of American Labor to people and they throw me out of the party
Hey gotta scare people with the battle of Blair mountain as well keep them guessing
Are you kidding, of course I talk about Blair Mountain, how can someone talk about the American Labor Movement without discussing Blair Mountain, the Haymarket Affair, and the Pullman Strike. Those are Iconic events and some of the most important moments in American History
A sketchy piece that I've always really enjoyed. This is another oc of mine, Morgan.
Accidentally posted this on my side blog, so re-blogging here.
I was noodling around with my prismacolors, and ended up drawing Raphael in my style based mostly on rottmnt. I really enjoy working with the pencils and mineral spirits, and it was a fun shading experiment.
Some concepts I was working with for the cervie from my Mazra world. Wanted to have some idea of how their colors and general markings worked for consistency. Also shows a bit of magic staining on the bottom two.
Some different unfinished works and sketches I never really got around to posting online, but would like to show off. A few of these are pretty old and/or I've simply lost any desire to finish them. The digital drow was simply a quick character test.
A bit of a proper proof of concept for Arqa. Finally got their face to look how I imagined it. I'm not 100% sure on the color palette of their clothing, but I intend to vary it up anyways, so it shouldn't be an issue. Arqa is a Cervie, which is a species native to my Mazra universe.
