I would attribute this less to stupidity and more to an absolute lack of principles. Zionists do not care whether or not the things they claim are true or reasonable only whether or not the truth is politicially convenient for their goals and interests. If a fact is inconvenient they'll deny it and stubbornly insist on a fictious narrative that puts them in a better light. Confronting them with proof theyre wrong doesnt help because they already know theyre wrong and they dont care theyll just come up with some convoluted deflection or dismissal. The point isnt whether or not an IOF soldier carved a star of david on the guys head the point is to help manufacture an enviornment where soldiers just like that one can safely murder every Palestinian while the world passively watches on.
