HIATUS.

Official announcement that this blog is to remain on an indefinite hiatus. I love the Stranger Things universe, but if I'm being honest, some areas of the fandom have tarnished that (namely some of those who joined after season 4) and its really not a fun place to be.

If I do choose to return, then I'll make another announcement.

If not, I just want to thank everyone who took the time to write/interact with me.

I'm still on hiatus. Taking a little longer than I anticipated and honestly, I'm on the fence about coming back. I've seen so much negativity in this fandom since season 4 and though I haven't had any directed at me, I dont know whether I want to write in a place that can be so toxic.

It wasn't like this back in 2018, and its so sad to see now.

MINI HIATUS NOTICE

So I intended on getting to stuff over the last couple of days but I'm just so mentally checked out at the minute.

I have everything I owe drafted so don't worry if I owe you something. Its there.

I just don't feel as though I can give any half decent portrayal with the way I'm feeling currently, so I'm officially putting myself on a very temporary hiatus. I'm hopeful this feeling will pass soon and I'll get back to writing my lovely bunch of muses.

By some miracle, he'd graduated. And by some miracle, Annie had said yes when he'd finally found the courage to ask her on a date. He likes her more than he'd anticipated and, after the events of the past year, he's thankful for the distraction.

There's a chill in the air as they leave the movie theatre. He'd let her choose, simply because he knew nothing of movies. But she'd seemed to enjoy it and if she was happy, so was he.

When they reach his car, he moves to open the door for her. But instead, he finds himself pressed against it, Annie's hands gripping the front of his jacket as she kisses him.

He barely has a chance to respond before she pulls back and all he can do is stare at her, eyes wide for several long seconds before words come to him.
