I just finished reading this book, and although there was some of it that I didn’t necessarily fully resonate with, it was a wonderful read and offered great insight into the ego and how to peacefully move beyond it.

Insight into Ego

When I first heard this statement I was like ‘wtf does this mean, cracking open" Then it began to come clear to me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Soul Emergence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The reason we are being cracked open is because our soul is like an onion. layer by layer we have these conditioned beliefs and subjective experiences that shaped our old identity. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However those past stories are starting to no longer resonate, they feel exhausting. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These old paradigm stories as some call them are becoming so repetitious or even uninteresting that we’re “done” with them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We’re yearning and craving new experiences.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The reason we feel this way is because we intuitively already know it’s over.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What I mean by being cracked open is that our reality is like an egg, this surface area is chipping away and we’re starting to crack it open completely. All these illusions that we created with the old identity through the ego are starting to reveal themselves and each layer is slowly being revealed to the observer.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We’re starting to feel this emergence because our soul is trying to break through the surface reality our ‘ego’ or identity used to associate as reality.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Darkness allows us to crack wide open and that’s when the light starts to fill in the gaps. The soul start emerging more and more and instead of going backwards, you’re constantly spiraling upward without even realizing it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The birthing process is emerging from within ourselves and changing our energetic foundation.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When we feel we’re struggling, distressed or letting the darkness take over, we’re actually in the birthing process. For those of you looking for a crystal to add to or aide in your Chakra work, Chrysocolla is a fabulous choice. It is a very unique crystal, in the sense that it imparts a very calming energy through the Chakras. Butterflies: A symbol of Transformation

Over the past week, I’ve seen an increasing amount of butterflies; prior to this I can’t even remember the last time I had seen one. I assumed they were rare to see. After noticing a few I began to question if this might possibly be a ‘sign’ or symbolize something. I began asking people around me if they had noticed many butterflies around; no one seemed to have seen many or any at all.

A secondary meaning of the butterfly is about finding joy in life and lightness of being.

Pretty goddamn relevant for me right now. I’ve had butterflies almost hit my windshield while driving twice now (before I really started thinking of them as a symbol, perhaps they were trying to really get my attention... it’s not everyday that a butterfly throws itself into your car in the middle of a busy street). I’ve seen them fluttering at a distance, but they are getting closer and closer to me as I develop more. The more I think about them and appreciate the help and guidance they are trying to give me, the more I see them appearing in my life. This hardly seems coincidental.

Increasing my awareness

Last night felt like what might have been a small break through experience. I’m not sure what it all means yet, but it does seem like I’m able to connect more and more with the spiritual realm and my psychic senses (whatever that may mean). I’ve been taking note of all potential signs and investigating potential meanings behind them to see if there are messages being directed to me. I figure, it can’t hurt to investigate. I take them with a grain of salt and don’t automatically assume that they have some mystical meaning, but it seems that an important part of spiritual and intuitive development is being aware and open to whatever messages may be sent to you. 

After reading @theawakenedstate‘s article about symptoms of spiritual awakening, I realized I have been experiencing some of them for along time and begun to experience others more and more over the past few months. This gave me hope that maybe all the difficulties I’ve been enduring for the past 10 or so years could have been leading up to something profoundly meaningful and positive. I’ve been seeing and experiencing many things that could be considered signs of impending transformation. At first, I was terrified. The idea of shedding my old ways (not fully knowing what that meant) and having to detach from things in my life that may be of importance to me at the moment was daunting and frightening. Additionally, it is often assumed that transformation and growth are not easy. The idea that growth occurs in the darkest of times hung over my head and filled me with dread and fear that I will have to endure even more suffering before I can finally be free from all the things that have been weighing me down for all these years. I’m ready for things to finally fall into place and for peace and harmony to come into my life; the idea of having to wait any longer for that seemed impossible to endure. However, my recent guidance towards what I’ve vehemently rejected for so many years seems to have allotted me with support and guidance I need to overcome the blockages that are preventing me from moving forward. God, angels, the whole ordeal. I’m diving head first into a search for what spirituality means to me and how I can connect with whatever higher power I may come to define as true for me. Right now I’m studying angels. A few days ago I started praying to them and asking for their guidance and have been feeling their presence ever since. I have a long way to go as far as feeling energies and ‘knowing’ of a world beyond the physical, but its truth is beginning to resonate with me. I had a raw and emotional conversation (more of a monologue, as I have no way of hearing or understanding their response yet) with the archangels I’ve asked to surround me over the weekend and I feel my prayers are slowly being answered. Crying out in desperation, I begged the angels and God to take my doubt, skepticism, and fear of the metaphysical away from me and to allow me to know the truth wholeheartedly. Notice I asked to know rather than to have faith or believe. Those words don’t seem strong enough to conquer my hypercritical and over analytical left brain. For me, it seems more relevant to ask for a definite knowing to be instilled in my heart and mind so all the blockages preventing me from accepting the truth can be torn down entirely.

Kyanite is an example of a very high vibration crystal! It has an extremely high energy level, and is one of my all time favorite crystals for chakra work. It has the unique ability of aligning the chakras instantly, and without intention, bringing a calming and centered feeling to the wearer.

Kyanite is an awesome stone to work with for meditation. It is one of the few crystals (like Citrine), that never needs to be cleansed because it doesn’t retain or absorb negative vibrations or negative energy.

It’s an amazing communication stone, probably because it’s so good for the Throat Chakra! It boosts self-expression and psychic abilities. It also helps shine a light through the fog of fears and blockages which allow the wearer to speak their truth. It’s a great stone for public speakers!

In the psychic realm, this crystal is said to be one of the best for connecting with your spirit guides. It’s also a great stone for protection during Astral Projection. I recently started sleeping with a Kyanite crystal on my bedside table and was amazed at the vivid dreams I started having!

For healers, this is a great crystal to wear while you are working because it places a shield around you. It also is a conductor of healing energy (why it’s so great at aligning and opening the chakras), and it also can act like a kind of grounding antenna for spiritual energy.

Such an amazing crystal! A must have for people that like to meditate and/or do chakra work!

Opening up to Angels

I never thought I’d find myself believing in Angels, let alone researching them and praying to them. I’ve recently been led by a very spiritually awakened friend away from focusing on spirit guides and learning about angels instead. I’ve only been learning about angels and practicing relevant meditations to help me connect with them for a couple days now, but I seem to have made small improvements. I’m going to do some various documenting of the things I have learned and how my spiritual development is unfolding. This will be a long path, of which I am just now beginning to carve out, but I’m excited to finally be on it.
