Did They Find The Fountain Of Youth?

There is one thing that I find very odd in Yashahime. Well there are a lot of things really, and yes I know if you don't like it don't watch. Still I have a right to an opinion and as a huge InuYasha fan, why wouldn't I be a bit upset if something I loved doesn't feel like it's getting a better sequel. But on to my post at hand. This is one thing I find odd for the sequel. Has anyone else noticed how much younger Sango and Miroku look. Seriously if you compare them to the original series I'd swear they got younger not older. I find it hard to believe they could not have made them look more aged. But since it's about the girls I guess it shouldn't matter how the old gang looks.

Parents!

So in the end will the twins and Moroha reunite with their parents? Honestly it's hard to say what will really happen. I've been thinking about this a lot about this and you know. After all this time I think for the twins it will be really awkward to see their parents as well as Moroha. And really Towa sorta has dad, so how will she react to her real father? To think InuYasha had a love triangle, while Yashahime has a parent problem. And don't get me wrong I'm sure Moroha is lonely, but is she really? If you look at her father's life growing up he had no one! Moroha is not alone like her father was. So it should be interesting to see if and when these families get together, how things turn out.

InuYasha's Sequel?

So I have finally summed up what Yashahime really is. Yashahime really isn't the sequel to InuYasha, well to me it isn't. Here's why I say that. So basically why do we watch Yashahime? Well to see InuYasha and the old gang. However, Yashahime is more about Sesshomaru. Which makes sense, but in order to get us to watch it they added InuYasha. After all the series is nothing like the InuYasha series. And as someone who isn't a big Sess fan, it makes it easier to watch Yashahime now. After all it's Sesshomaru's series, not InuYasha's sequel. So now if they want to keep making Yashahime rushed and not good material. I say go right ahead, the true InuYasha series out does the Sess series by a long shot! And InuYasha always will beat Sesshomaru..

It doesn't stop!

Many things can be said about Yashahime, however for right now I feel the only good episode was the 1st one. It holds the true InuYasha story line and adventure we all enjoyed. From there it's like a plane ready to crash. I have to admit I'm to the point where I need to go watch the real series of InuYasha to get this sequel's horrible taste out. And the most disturbing thing to come is Moroha being raised by Koga!? Seriously, now don't get me wrong I like Koga. And yet it angers me that they would have it that she is raised by him and not InuYasha. Is there no end to this madness? Given there is much we don't know yet. Still as time goes on and as I keep watching. I'm losing hope in this sequel, I feel it was something best left alone. I thought maybe I could find something good in this sequel, but for now I haven't found it yet.

My Opinion Of Yashahime

As of right now my opinion of Yashahime is not a very good one. Like many I have read fanfics way better than this sequel. A true favorite and I know many know of is, Knittingknotts's A Tale Of Ever After. This is exactly how I feel the sequel should've been done. I know many disagree with the ships at the end of InuYasha and that is perfectly okay. This is one advantage to writing your own fanfic. I honestly feel Yashahime is not a very good sequel for such a great anime and manga like InuYasha. It's rushed and lacks everything I fell in love with in InuYasha. At this point I only watch it to see what will happen to the old gang.

Who Has The Rights?

Yeah I'll probably get a lot of hate and opinions on this one. Still I find it amazing how artists have this idea that fanart is completely theirs. Yes you drew the character in your style, but the character is not yours unless it's your own. While those who write fanfic always give full credit to the main creator of the character. Now I'm not saying artist don't give credit to the true creator, but there are a few who demand you don't post their work without credit to them. To this I say really? You are not the true creator of these characters. The only reason these artists want credit is because they want attention. Yes there are a few good artists in this world who are not like this. They freely allow people to post their work and not demand credit. Honestly if I could drew I would never complain if someone posted my work without crediting me. For one I'm not after being popular, it should be about sharing your talent and the love you have for something. As a fanfic writer it would not bother me one bit if someone used an idea, who knows they might do better. I honestly can say from experience so many people forget why we make fanart and fanfic. If you value your work and turn away from having true friends, than you're only living for attention. Of course we all want to feel wanted and to hear words of praise. Fanfic writers get their motivation from reviews. We all want to feel popular and this is why everyone wants credit. I've learned the truth about this the hard way and lost a lot from this thing called credit. Some of you may think I'm dead wrong and that's okay. I'm just saying how I see this whole argument over not reposting without credit mess.

I am asking you one thing, and that is, don’t send me a message about Kikyou’s possible return (although I know it won’t), but if it happens at YashaHime, I’m not going to see it anymore.

Honestly, as I thought, this series sucks as hell. Yes, I’m disappointed that it wasn’t Kikyou, but tree ages but just a little dot in the sea. The second thing is what Sesshoumaru is doing. He had great character development thanks to Rin, and now YashiaHime introduces him as the soulless father (Kaede’s assumptions). The fact is that Sesshomaru has abandoned his own daughters and I believe his behavior is OC. I can’t watch them destroy characters, just NO! The plot makes no sense.

I knew very well that this series would be a pathetic fake and making the series for money would not do any good. Boruto is 100% better than YashaHime. I doubt YashaHime will gain any popularity. I never considered it a canon as it is only a Sunrise product for earning money from fanatics. it will never be canon because   was not written by Rumiko, but  she agreed to “Inuyasha next generation” and in my opinion she made a huge mistake. I really used to read better fanfics than what is happening at YashaHime and it is completely disappointing.

Not InuYasha!

The more I watch Yashahime the more I find myself reminding myself this is not the series I fell in love with. I'm not saying it's bad, but I can't enjoy it for some reason. I miss the old gang and I dislike a few other things. I know everyone has their own opinion and I respect them all.
