I have come to realize that sometimes when you love someone, it’s best to just let go….

there are moments where i wish i could capture an emotion in time, and preserve it forever.... free to feel that emotion until the end of time. i suppose the closest thing to that is photography.

something about the primary colors of the street lights. or maybe it was the light reflecting in your eyes. there was a depth i can’t quite explain. i knew it was so wrong, so far from right, but something about it was so beautiful. i gave in willingly, and it remained just as beautiful. and i knew; that beauty not seen with eyes, but with the mind, will never fade or grow old.

a sudden turn of the the unexpected. heartbeat racing, and i can’t resist it. drunk from the thrill, high on the music. dancing all night ‘til the sun comes up. feeling like there are no boundaries, no wrongs, just rights. i’m slipping from reality, and floating up to cloud nine. i just want to feel free. i just want to do something for me this time. i just want to live spontaneously. i just need to feel alive.

and now reality feels like a dream…

i don’t want to be submissive anymore. i wanna live free; love over war. if we love, then i don’t wanna hide it. if we kiss, it won’t have to be in private. i don’t care about the others. can we just be lovers?

i’m burning with desire. this feeling igniting a fire. i’m melting under moonlight. this spark about to ignite. i’m a phoenix of emotion. is this a curse or a potion? ‘cause all i see is distortion. it’s all a hazy contortion. but i believe god brings good fortune.

we’re on shaky grounds, my dear, and there’s nothing i can do. my vision is blurry, but the options are clear. i’m running out of time, and soon the decision is mine.

do i fight or flight? i’ve fought this war once, and it has brought us back to the beginning. if i choose flight, everything we’ve fought for may be lost forever.

and here I stand, on shaky grounds.
